  • Safety isn't always about doing the easy or popular thing.
The current style of hard hat was introduced to the USA 56 years ago, in 1965. This type of head protection offers minimal, if any, protection to the front, rear, and sides. They tend to fall off as there is no integral chinstrap.
The Kask helmets have a lot of offer:
    - Expanded polystyrene system (foam) inner shell which lessens impact energy, reducing the likelihood of concussions and other head injuries. Foam liners are typically found in helmets with a Type II impact rating. Kask helmet have an ANSI Type I rating but have passed the Type II impact test protocols.
    - Integral chin strap rated to withstand 300 pounds of pull.
    - Accessories include ANSI Z87 certified face shield that can replace eye protection, hearing protection, reflective tape, and clips for head lamps.
    - 3-year warranty (compared to most hard hat's 1-Year warranty)
    - 10-year shelf life (compared to most hard hat's 5-year shelf life)
We realize that change, in general, is hard. But we do not implement change just for the sake of change. Really. We are implementing this because we care about our crew's safety. We care about the wellbeing their families. We want to provide everyone with the best equipment possible. We want to be an industry leader.
