IrishSullivanify this is probably worse lol you can kill 300 chompys in a decent amount of time but this can take 12 hours plus depending on your luck. Took me 6 hours
Yeah, the Karamja diary is definitely outdated compared to the other ones, and badly needs an overhaul. Numerous issues exist like XP lamps not in line with other diaries, superfluous tasks like cut teak AND mahogany, enter the brimhaven dungeon AND jump on stepping stones, as well as the gout tuber being way out of line for a medium tasks, and the annoyance of having to talk to different people to complete each tier of the diary.
I really think the hard is actually easier than doing mediums for sure. The highest skill is 100+ cbt otherwise skills that are in 50s or less. And getting to wave 31 in caves is very easy. In mediums you have to get 65 fishing, tai bwo favour to 100%, and spend so much money on something you’re just gonna trade for a stupid machete later. I’d say just skip medium and wait to do hards since medium awards isn’t any good anyway
The time stamps I was looking for. I'm sure this will help someone: 23:27 - spider on a stick. It can be any logs that make arrow shafts, and you can light your own fire. 24:32 - trapping the graahk
Yeah I also didn;t know anything about having to use the spade on it. I feel like he should mentiuon that in the guide because the way he talks about it you would think it is something that just appears in your Inventory naturally. Oh well i guess
For trading sticks just mine gem rocks at shilo village, use a chisel on them and sell them to gabooty in tai bwo wannai village, one topaz is worth 120 trading sticks
@@adambauer3489 Your comment is bullshit. You just didn't talk to Muqay first. You need to talk to Murqail or whatever his name is first after you have at least like 5 favor. Then, he'll give you some trading sticks in exchange for favor, and after that you'll get 2 favor for each jungle spider kill.
If you have at least 68 farming, you can plant a palm tree in the fruit tree patch and, when fully grown, inspecting it will complete both a medium and an elite task in the Karamja diaries, just an FYI!!!

I just spent 8 and a half hours getting this god awful gout tuber on my ironman. If you arent a ironman, just spend the 600k. Trust me, its not even worth xp wasting for that long
could you please add time stamps per acheivement. i have 75% of them done and the vid is 30 min long so its very hard to find the ones i need. I hope this advice helps you to overdeveloping the best guides out there for osrs.
Just put up a cannon close to the calquat tree and have it kill the spiders while you chop on the bush that way you get insane amount of favour and ur done in about 5-10 minutes.
YOOOOO I got a gout tuber while getting 100% favor lol, so glad I didn't need to spend 1 mil for a med diary and that I had a spade to get it from planting the fruit tree
If you have high combat like me, an easy way to do the 100% favour is to repair a 'rotten fence', make sure it's a rotting fence. And then talk to the guy. Then you can go and kill jungle monsters just north for good favour. An ultra fast way would be to cannon them lol.
get a 100% tai bwo favour in 10-15 mins, For anyone else wondering how to make this work, a comment or two explain this below but not in great detail. 1. Talk to Marcail. 2. Hack some of the jungle with a machete. 3. Talk to Marcail again, he'll tell you he noticed you hacking, and to try to repair some fence. 4. Using the sticks you got from hacking the jungle, repair some fence (big ass U shaped fence a bit south from Mercail). 5. After you fix a bit of fence, talk to Mercail again, he'll give you some trading sticks. 6. NOW THAT YOU HAVE TRADING STICKS, you can kill the spiders for favour. Hope this helps.

was about to give up due to the gout tuber requirement but i decided to give cutting light jungles a try and got it on my first one. and then a birds nest while cutting the teak. my luck must be good today.

I was stuck at 100% favor and talked to everyone like 5 times and repair the fence and chopped jungle down a million times. turns out I took some gout weed from murcaily which is part of the "My Arms Big Adventure" quest. Which prevented me from being able to receive trading sticks from any of the villagers. Finish the quest and it worked first try. hope this helps someone save a couple hours.
Spent almost three hours trying to get the gout tuber. Thought I would save a little money at first which soon turned into Ok, I have to get this now...Then, Any time now.... And in the end I bought it from the GE :p

for favor kill the spiders NE of the anvil icon at tai bwo. they are lvl 44 and are 2-3%. a kill. should take like 20 min. they dont have a yellow dot on the mini map though
Really wish you wouldve explained how to get the goutweed, i got one but didnt realize it until i looked it up later, ps since he doesnt know how to explain it all you have to do is use your spade on it. Had to do this for about an hour and 30 mins longer to get another one
For anyone that doesn’t get an option to make the machete I found the solution, speak with Murcaily in the village and get to the diologue about cutting the forest and ask about the machete then go back to Safta Doc.
I finished the hard diaries and I was so excited thinking I could skip getting my fishing to 65 so I can have karamja gloves 3. I’m so sad I need to grind fishing before I go back to slayer. 😭
I got my gout tuber by the minigame, and after that i just wanted to continue like for 5 more minutes. I was focused on something else at the time, but suddently i look at my screen, and see ANOTHER gout tuber. Im not joking, i literally got a gout tuber back to back!! 1 in 10.000. for anybody watching this way later: to get 100% favor fast you have to do each of the tasks once and talk to the M named guy again to get the trading stick option. after that, go kill the jungle spiders north for 1-2% each kill

nah man. if there is ever a chance to watch something other than one of his ill do it. so frustrating when im trying to listen and the mother truck says run WEST and i waste half my run going 50 miles the wrong way when its actually EAST. happens all the time on his guides. and he can take something which is only 6 minutes and stretch it out to a half hour. and still be confusing.... some of his "quick guides" are longer in duration that other content creators full guides

In case you DON'T need a gout tuber : Kill jungle spiders near the calquat tree patch for favour. They give 1-3% favour each and are way faster.
