Thanks Phil, glad you enjoyed it. Even the footprints would have disappeared when the tide came in👍

Brilliant contacts and what a super little radio. I have been looking at that.

Cheers Chris, it’s a great little radio but like me you already have too many radios. Spend your money on something else😂

Another excellent video. Great production and showcasing the hobby so well. And boy, do I want one of those little radios! 73 Kevan.

Thanks Tim, it’s a great little radio indeed. Sadly Richard and I had to split up, it’s a toxic relationship and he’s not good for my bank balance😬

Hi, Kevan. As soon as I start one of your videos, I crank up Google Earth to follow the path you take on your outings. I really like those tidal landscapes you hike/kayak. Had a hard time identifying on GE the concrete slabs on which you and Richard overcame the breaking of your respective necks - survivalists, the both of you. Love these jaunts you take. Seven-threes from Oregon. Steven, AG7SS.

Thanks Steven, I am very lucky to live where I do. I love the coast and being near water so you get to see my playground on my videos. My passion for ham radio is in part driven by a fascination for the landscape of the world, understanding where people are, finding them on a map and imagining being there so I try to create an immersive video where viewers are along for the journey with me so it’s nice to hear you enjoy the ride. 73 Kevan

When I saw the video land I thought, “Kevan hasn’t bought another radio, has he?” Great stuff working a succession of VKs. Looking forward to trying the vertical.

Not yet Micheal, I am trying to resist as I have other plans for my disposable income, not least batteries for our plans for next spring north of the border😉

You know you want one! Where did Richard purchase it from, UK reseller or direct ?

I do want one Mike that’s the problem. Pretty sure Richard got it from Aliexpress, it’s a neat little radio but I must resist temptation😂
