I didn't really know what shinies was back then, but I did recognize that the colours were different. Tried to catch it, but failed because I ran out of balls. It has bugged me for years, but after hearing this, im not that confident that it would have kept being shiny. At least I can hope so

I was watching this on my ps4 and hunting magnemite on lets go and after my longest hunt the magnemite appeared at the exact same time bayleef AND NO CAP THEY ARE BOTH QUIET NATURE OMG

Every time I return to this video I'm amazed the Stunfisk is still there. I know it's completely irrelevant to the video but the fact that whole thing happened with the Stunfisk during the early days of "voting things off the layout" stuff was hilarious. I don't know if you left it there on purpose or if you just didn't notice it while doing this hunt but I'm glad it happened either way cause it's hilarious.

And that intro didn't deter me from watching your Colo/XD Shiny hunting guide, either- I remember finding it when I was preparing to hunt a wild Pokémon at the Rock Poké Spot. I ended up getting a Shiny Gligar with that hunt, too!
This is really amazing! I can really respect the shiny hunt, and I think it’s really cool that you can shiny hunt things while still respecting the RNG abusers. A lot of people can’t seem to do that. Any chance we’ll see an attempt at one of the Mt. Battle starters? They’re one of the few things that can be shiny in XD, though resetting for them is going to be a pain if you decide to try for one.
maybe one of these days!! still not sure how I'm gonna try and complete the trio in 3rd gen. I definitely wanna do battle video resets in Emerald. And nothing but massive respect for the RNGers from me! without them and their research, we'd be cluelessly hunting so many shiny locked things lol
