Finally, someone shows how to keep your folder structure in your Amazon Photos. Looks like you have to take each folder and drag-n-drop them into an album created on Amazon Photos. Thank you. I tried looking everywhere for help on keeping my folder structure, and this looks like the way to do it. Very simply explained. Much appreciated.
I found out the answer to more than 5GB videos from your video. But can we download the videos back to our phone and delete from the amazon photos? I m just trying to keep amazon photos as a medium to keep my videos temporarily so that I can get a new phone and then transfer it back to new phone.

I'm an artist and want to use my Fire HD10 tablet for viewing my reference images as I paint. (I used to print my reference but could never get decent colour matching.) In November I bought the tablet specifically for this purpose which means I only need to load the pics I am working from at the time. My main folders and image editors are all on my desktop pc so all the work gets done from there. I just need to get my chosen pics from my pc to the tablet. Sounds simple to me, but sadly it's not coz I am having to use Amazon Photos! Amz Photos has already backed up ALL of my desktop folders automatically TWICE, even tho I don't recall enabling this and don't know how to stop it. So twice I've had to manually delete each single file coz there's no 'select all', leaving only the images I wanted. Not a great start. Anyway, I don't want ALL my stuff saved to 'the cloud' (maybe one day). I have other backups in place. Do I have to use Amazon Photos for my purpose? Can't I do same as I do with my fone - plug in to pc and use Windows Explorer? Would be sooo much easier! Thanks in advance. x
Download the Amazon photo app on your phone. It's available for Android and iPhone. After you do so, it will ask you what you want to back up. Then you can even set Up if you Want to back up every time you open the Amazon photo app. And you're done

I’m so sorry I missed this yes you definitely can I do it all the time I go back to my trips and I download them into my camera roll onto my iPhone and then send Them through other things other than Amazon if need be although it’s sometime is it easier just to send them a link

I have never knowingly uploaded any photos but I click on amazon photos on my amazon fire and there hundreds of photos and videos from my desktop computer, from my laptop computer and my phone on my tablet. How did they get there. I do not want all those photos on my tablet. I am also getting many duplicate photos. What am I doing wrong???
Do you have the app on your tablet? If so, if you have a auto update checked on it in the app it will automatically update your photos from your phone. It to Amazon photos every time you click into the app on Wi-Fi or if it’s checked it will do it on data as well.

My question Is how to "PAUSE" the process of backup / Upload of the photos. Not stop- not sign out- JUST A MENU TO PUSH "PAUSE" DURING PROCESS OF UPLOADING / BACKUP OF MY PHOTOS ON MY PHONE. NO OTHER COMPUTER JUST NEW PHONE... I will look at your suggested site at beginning of video. I have crazy about of photos also. ??? Once I upload photos into amazon photos, can I delete them from my phone?
You can as its back up on a cloud server if i were you though back all photos up on atleast two sources incase one ever fails

How do I even find amazon photos on my phone. Do I have to have Amazon photo app to do so? And how do I upload my photos to Amazon from my phone?

Yes it is, i just think they need to work on a batch offload feature when downloading photos back off.

You have to open the app on your phone so it will back up then yes will show up on amazon photos across your devices

Amazon drive is shutting down not amazon photo :) there actually doing it to focus on the photo platform

No they are saved on a cloud based server you would have to delete your account or Amazon would have to shut it down
Amazon photos only allow 5 GB of videos to upload for free? What if I had more than 5GB of videos in my phone?
It will upload 5 GB worth and then stop uploading video you can of course pay per month for more video storage
