Hey, we're Eoin and Aisling, a couple from Ireland who have packed their bags, waved goodbye to home and set off to travel the world in search of new adventures!
We started our journey by spending 3 months walking from the top to the bottom of Croatia and exploring a few of the boarding countries. Then at the start of January 2022 we hopped on a flight to South East Asia!

I love how you guys just grab adventure by the horns and keep a smile on your face as most people would complain about having to ride on the roads that are being worked on and the dust that's in the air. Keep riding!
Great video series. I will be doing the Ha Giang loop this October but taking a couple weeks up there. What was the # of the road with all the roadworks so I can hopefully go around it? Cheers

Là tôi thì 10 ngày ở vùng núi phía bắc 20 ngày cho đường Hồ Chí Minh từ bắc vào nam với một chiếc xe máy

We got a bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang then we rented our bikes from Ha Giang. The journey there was very beautiful looking out the window
How much did Aisling ride before this ? This is giving me hope we go in November and I’ve only scootered around Thailand and a little anxious about this drive lol plan to go out some smaller rides before if possible but it’s encouraging me to see someone else not easy riding it as a female 😊
Hey hey!! I only drove scooters prior to this too! Im not going to lie Eoin usually drives when we have a scooter but I made a point to practice more and more because I really wanted to do it myself. It was my own little bucketlist thing. I felt most comfortable when it was just me on the scooter and I had such a blast driving around by myself, but when I added the weight of a second person that’s when I was a little iffy. So I decided that if it was only me and my bag I would be fine. I started driving the scooter more and then opted for the semi automatic bike for the loop, this took me an hour or two to get used to but because of the constant driving it was easier to get used to than you would think. You kind of need the semi automatic for some of the hills but overall the whole thing was a lot more doable and stress free than I ever imagined
@@EoinandAisling that’s awesome way to get it done! I’ve scootered on my own but never used a semi automatic or drove roads like this however great tip about needing it for the hills and to practice some on it . This has givin me the push to try it too as like you it’s a bucket list . Love that you guys did this on your own and not with a tour group . We did opt for a smaller ran group although my partner kept saying we should do it on our own lol just liked that some of the thought process was taken care of .
