Great Video! 👍 Call me a "Softie" if you like, but I got tired of cutting my finger on the line... So got myself a "Casting Trigger". (about $20 on ebay). Now I can cast as hard as I like with no danger to my finger.
Good follow-up video Ed after gathering loose cunji. I went Tuesday morning last of the run-out - my big drummer spot. Swell was powerful and had to pull the plug early. Managed one solid pig but was disappointed I couldn't fish longer or properly. Still, trying conditions and punching through the harder times, make us better fishermen, Ed. BTW, love tarwhine. They are awesome and mysterious how they just turn up.
@@franksaunders6534 yeah hard to fish those shallow areas with a bit of a swell. Tuesday looks like a good day 1.1m swell and you're right those tarwine turn up unexpectedly

Good vid Ed, good looking ledge what rod & line were you using ?
It's a old 10ft rod from Westend Sport and Tackle that I refurbished made a vid on it called Old to New. The line is 30lb braid with 30lb mono.
@@letsgofishing3249 Great old rod, Ed - for rock/beach fishing, they still have the best actions imo
You're fishing about 40m from some great cray holes. They've been quiet for a few years there now but used to get a few bugs along there.
@@mistergormsby thanks for a bit of knowledge in that area. What about fish in the area?
@@letsgofishing3249 Nothing you wouldn't already know! I love that whole stretch of ledge.
