I was busy doing my own music as singer-songwriter myself, on guitar, performing in all venues and as recording artist i simply had ALOT on my plate. LOVED IT!
For me however, the EURYTHMICS were my contemporaries.
ANNIE LENNOX IS my favorite singer-songwriter. I found a someone SO similar to myself, only my hair was much shorter .
But ANNIE LENNOX IS a CLASSIC, and in a place ALL HER OWN. SIMPLY LOVE everything about her.
There are not too many people who ARETHA sang with. ANNIE LENNOX DID!
The EURYTHMICS were became my favorite band.
Visionaries, tre unique.
Annie and Dave Stewart were/are perfect. But ANNIE LENNOX carried the EURYTHMICS with that unique SOULFUL VOICE.
THIS WHITE GIRL COULD SING! WOW!
THEN- to boot, we're all familiar with her SOLO CAREER! Need i say more?
She was NOW: the self-proclaimed DIVA! Loved ALL she did and the WORLD fell in LOVE AGAIN!
Oh , when MUSIC was MUSIC.
I am hard to please when it comes to MUSIC. I 'm a tireless perfectionist. There's only 3yrs difference between me and ANNIE LENNOX.
In light of the Holiday season i wish to say to ANNIE: HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIVA!, yes she was born on Christmas day. 💖🎶🌹
Growing up i lived at my best friends with his parents in LA , and his dad came back after playing the violin for Annie's first song in here comes the rain again and said you know I think that girl has a hit there and said he liked her and was very impressed with her singing saying she is gonna go far..I always listen to his part again and am so blown away everytime it comes on.. her best song I think along with send me an angel...
The Eruythmics are definitely one of the bands when I was a kid back in 1983 that got me into Electronic based music

Just to add he also played the violin part for glen cambells song Wichita lineman and linda Ronstadts youre no good ..listen and you can tell his violin style is the same
