I think you should take all those stamps you found to a professional stamp collector as they could be very valuable that’s my opinion. From Perth Scotland. Love your program. Take care.
There is a sold ducks blanket on eBay for 105.00 like yours! Can't believe you never heard of Robinson Crusoe. The book was first published in 1719. Based on true accounts of Alexander Selkirk. Between the years of 1676-1721.
You two make me feel old. I am 60 years old but my mind doesn't say I'm that old. You talking about stuff from the 80s was not that long ago in my mind. Thanks for showing all you do love the channel.
Lol,I just turned 69 and my son and his 3 teenagers live with in the back of my duplex. They are always up here. I think they just check up on me. I am fine as long as I don't fall! Lol!
Wade, please, please check the value of everything carefully. A lot of the items you are thinking aren’t valuable, are worth a lot. Don’t miss out on the full potential of the money that can be made from this unit. Be patient and check them out carefully. Best wishes.
I find it so sad that the precious memories someone has so carefully saved from their childhood will never be passed on to their family. Sometimes there is no family, so I wonder why we save these things. I have so many things that are precious to me but no one to leave them to. Sad. 😢
Don't feel no one understands. So many people but so many are sad and alone. Sell anything of value. Things should not define us. If you can't find someone to love, I sincerely hope you can find something that you love to do!
Love it just watched you open the goat with the old oil cans with the oil in them and I'm 65 and it's been a lot of years sense I've seen oil in cans like that .I used to open them with a pocket knife or the opener witch I think I saw in the goat with the oil cans .thanks for the memories and keep showing them and I'll keep watching you for sure.
Just a note for your future units. Hats and gloves especially the white ones were wore in the 1950's. You always wore hats and gloves and there was glove etiquette what length to wear at certain times a day. Lots of rules for hats and gloves.

Those are hinges to mount the stamps into a stamp book. You have mint (unused) blocks, First Day Covers and used stamps. Nice collection of stamps. Very interested.
Hello! I love this locker! The old book titled Robinson Crusoe, was written by British author Daniel Defoe and was first published in 1719. I doubt very much it's a first edition but it certainly looks old! Also a pretty good book to read!
You should both be kind of embarrassed if you've never heard of Robinson Crusoe before. No judgement if you haven't read it, but if you don't even recognize the name, your school system has epically failed you.
Makes me think a lot of the new clothing items may have been gifts never used. This family loved the items from their travels and kept them all as new. Just a wonderful storage. The Duck items will be hot sellers. I lived in Eugene area for twenty years. I have all of my parents slides. They were hikers and back packers, and Dad took wonderful slides. Hundred hundreds of slides. I loved watching you two go through this locker. Much fun.
Lot of older people would get gifts like beautiful nightgowns and sweaters and things and they would wrap them in tissue paper and store them away because they were too good to wear. Then they would wear their old ratty cotton sweaters with the holes in the sleeves and their tattered underwear. When my mother-in-law died she had beautiful lingerie stored in her dresser drawer wrapped in tissue paper.
That was a fun unit, those old items brought back fond memories for sure. The ice trays and the aprons made me think of my mother, God rest her soul. Be safe driving home and then get warmed up. I live in Phoenix/Glendale, Arizona so I do feel sorry for you being in that cold weather.
Oil cans did not, usually, get the whole top opened by a can opener. They were opened by a oil can punch that had an attached pour spout, or by a can punch, which was used with a funnel. If you were good you could punch the hole and aim for the engine oil spout. Cans were changed starting in 1985 to plastic bottles.
Freaking awesome unit!!! fantastic stamps! love the plaid blanket! Merry happy holidays and best wishes for the new year to you guys, your adorable kids, the fur babies and your lovely mom!!
The homemade looking ornaments were probably made out of “bread dough” a kind of modeling “clay” that was made from mostly flour and something else to bind it…I can’t remember the binder. A varnish of some sort, maybe egg whites? was used to seal it all. Bread Dough modeling clay was very popular in the 80s. There were lots of people making their own and you could buy it from gift shops and such.
The oil cans can be opened up by a triangular can opener like you used for evaporated milk. The garage would have a thing that they pushed into the can and it had a spout on it and they would just pour the oil in from the spout to your oil reservoir in the car.

Car guys would love those oil tins and change kit. I love the TV trays. Those brings back memories. Love the new in box clothes/gloves. Is stamp collecting still a thing? Fantastic clean goods in this unit.
Homemade is from the 70's also. It is flour, salt and water dough. Bake and painted. Us old folks made them way back in the 1977 at 16 yrs old. I laugh so much when I forget how young you two kids are.
Hello family and Mom too! Wade I don't know if anyone has told you, but a lot of those metal boxes look like the actual equipment that is all connected by metal racks and each one is a station or transformer to cable television. I was a dispatcher for cable TV out in California years ago, so I faced a wall full of those!
There are a lot of young women, UA-camrs, and Tiktokers that wear vintage clothing. These people decorate their whole house in vintage style. I am sure people loved and bought these vintage items. Many of them follow vintage recipes books, and vintage etica oh how to keep their homes clean, cook, and care for their family.
You crack me up! Old? 1960 is OOOOLLLDDDD. I was in high school them and am still hanging in there. I went to Princess house parties and my sister in law was in love with the stuff.
The head light is for a bicycle. The other part attaches near the tire. As the tire moves the generator spins generating electricity and the head light comes on.
Those oil cans would be open with a can opener that would attach to can; press into top of can and leave a "V" type opening - then you would use a funnel to be sure that oil would go into car without spillage. You would NEVER use a can opener that we see these days that would "circle" the top and open entire top of can. - As for the STAMPS you found - I saw COLLECTOR STAMPS and assessories (books and stuff) - If you sell them in a lot, be sure you have 1. checked out the value of them so you know the VALUE you are "selling". Then there are POSTAGE STAMPS - that you could literally still use to mail a letter etc, - Postage today is ABOUT 60 cents - So you could pick out various postage stamps you have to add up to 60 cents and put them on the envelope and mail it at the Post Office or mailbox. So once again, even with THOSE stamps, add up the VALUE on each of the stamps and know hat you are selling (value) for whatever price you set. "CURRENT DAY" stamps are USEFUL - the older stamps (collectors want) are Valuable for a Collector - but price needs to be checked out through a stamp collector "expert/shop". - Be sure you know what you are selling and what value they hold.
Hey the S&H green stamps was once used to order things from their catalog instead of cash. I licked many stamps for my mom ti fill the books. I would say someone would like to get them. The company went out of business.
A lot of nice stuff that kerosene heater is beautiful it's always nice to have something like that around just in case you need it love you guys be safe. Love the tv trays
Charles M Russel is that one print with the horses and cattle. His stuff is very sought after! Make sure you check on that, it could be worth a lot!! This locker so fun to me! All the vintage stuff reminds me of Christmas in a weird way. Perfect timing because it's lifting my spirits! :)
incense of the desert is actually 'Frankinsence" ....It comes from a tree and is indigenous to the Middle Eastern countries.... It has a very very awesome aroma.... You should try it.... Keep a piece on a porcelain stand and light a tealight under it.... It smells great.....
Verry funnie lockers. Love old stuff. My relativa live in Portland, Oregon. I have visited them twice time, want to do it more times. Uddevalla, Sweden 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇺🇸🇸🇪🇸🇪
Wade, in the Christmas boxes in this video, I am interested in getting the old packages of icicles, if they are the old aluminum kind. And the bubble lights that were in one of the first boxes. Can you give me more information and a price. I am new to buying on line but I do have a pay pal account.
You guys have a lot of good stuffs for all seasons. Nowadays, you can't find many of such rare items in the market. I love collectibles, limited editions and vintage items. I used to collect stamps when I was young, and many of those stamps now worth hundred to thousand of dollars. Do research before you start auctioning them.
If you were around in the 70s, you will recognize the items - Realistic, inexpensive Radio Shack receiver, Robert Bruce, low-end brand sold in discount stores, Benrus, the moderately-price watch for the middle class. And if you have been around even longer, you will remember Robinson Crusoe was first published in 1719 , making it unlikely you will find a first edition. Those oil cans might be collectible - motor oil tins are highly sought, but they are looking for really old ones. You don't open them with a can opener, they had spouts with a punch at the bottom end - you could Google it. You jabbed the spout into the can and poured the oil that way.
at about 49 minutes in your video the big light you pulled out of the box is a generator for a bicycle, you put the wheel against the tire and as you peddle it generates power to the light, I had one as a child and loved it. put it on your sons bike .
At 44:19 what do you want for it ? The oil can full of oil goes for around $20 to $60.00 per can depending and yes I am in Kentucky not to far from where it is from ...
Its called a dynomo, in the box with the lamp. The little wheel goes on to the wheel rim of a bicycle or motorcycle and powers the lamp. I used to have one in the mid 70s. Was the Peanuts character called Lynus who played the piano?

Charles M Russel is that one print with the horses and cattle. His stuff is very sought after! Make sure you check on that, it could be worth a lot!! This locker so fun to me! All the vintage stuff reminds me of Christmas in a weird way. Perfect timing because it's lifting my spirits! :)
Seems like that realistic receiver is a pretty nice, rare find. Even better in the box. Do you still have it?
incense of the desert is actually 'Frankinsence" ....It comes from a tree and is indigenous to the Middle Eastern countries.... It has a very very awesome aroma.... You should try it.... Keep a piece on a porcelain stand and light a tealight under it.... It smells great.....

Remember at Xmas the 3 wise men brought gifts of Gold , Frankincense & Murr! Not sure of spelling
Verry funnie lockers. Love old stuff. My relativa live in Portland, Oregon. I have visited them twice time, want to do it more times.

Wade, in the Christmas boxes in this video, I am interested in getting the old packages of icicles, if they are the old aluminum kind. And the bubble lights that were in one of the first boxes. Can you give me more information and a price. I am new to buying on line but I do have a pay pal account.
I am also looking for “angel hair”. If anyone knows of any let me know.
The oil cans had a funnel with a pointed end. Sticking the funnel/spout opened the oil and the spout was designed to fit in the oil fill neck.
Awesome locker.. just curious what you did with all the stamps?

Wade you get so excited. Just life a kid at Christmas., Ashley is the more reserved one. Sweet one. How are the boys doing. Take care my friends, 💕
Wade you should see if film studios would buy some of the vintage stuff for props !
at about 49 minutes in your video the big light you pulled out of the box is a generator for a bicycle, you put the wheel against the tire and as you peddle it generates power to the light, I had one as a child and loved it. put it on your sons bike .
I am interested in the two old Christmas calendars if you still have them. Thank you!

I can’t see the reply???
At 44:19 what do you want for it ? The oil can full of oil goes for around $20 to $60.00 per can depending and yes I am in Kentucky not to far from where it is from ...
Its called a dynomo, in the box with the lamp. The little wheel goes on to the wheel rim of a bicycle or motorcycle and powers the lamp. I used to have one in the mid 70s. Was the Peanuts character called Lynus who played the piano?
Linus had a blanket, Schroeder played the piano.
The boy doll looks like Schroeder from The Peanuts. He has a composer on his shirt and his hands look like he's playing a piano.
Also that map you found of Disneyland is worth a lot wow that is some unit you found what treasures
The trunk has some things with Donegal on which is where my mum was from in Ireland
Merry Christmas to all of you. 🎄❤️
