OMG, I have only seen the first few minutes of Schlock today but the story of him DIRECTING the film in a gorilla suit is very funny! Thanks for posting!
"Catholic High School Girls In Trouble" and "Eyewitness News" . . . Ah yes, I was a wee lad of 12 when I saw it in theaters, just a year after seeing Jenny Agutter nekkid in "LOGAN'S RUN" . . . such nice mammaries -- uh, memories, that is. The "Scot Free" parody board-game faux-commercial was brilliant!
@@m1lst3r89 OHHH yes . . . in 2 scenes: the one in the ice cave with the robot Box (she gets out of her wet clothes and, voila! she's starkers; and the second one she's swimming with Michael York in the same pond where Taylor, Landon, and Dodge swam in PLANET OF THE APES, where they see Nova's footprint. Also, the first scene in which we see Jenny she's wearing a very revealing, wispy-green dress showing a nice amount of skin. Geezus, but I'll always love Jenny Agutter, my first screen crush!
@@patricktilton5377 ah, yes...i almost forgot about the cave...because it was fairly brief. I have seen the film couple of months ago.. I remember the lake scene, but there you don't see nothing. If you want to see Jenny nakkid, try Walkabout or Equus❤️
@@m1lst3r89 Don't forget about the in-the-shower love scene in AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON. Dave Naughton was one lucky bastard and, yes, wouldn't I like to be a Pepper too!
Rick Baker's backstory sounds identical to how Peter Jackson started out. Using his moms oven and everything. Baker is 11 years older than Jackson though, so Peter Jackson was Rick Baker 2.0
@@m1lst3r89 Jennifer's dad was killed filming The Twilight Zone movie directed by Landis when a helicopter flying overhead during filming crashed and the helicopter blades decapitated him and two child actors.
This is a gem. John is a great story teller...
And he murdered 2 minority children and got away with it because he is the “type” of Hollywood elite that doesn’t suffer consequences
Thank you for posting! Such a wild guy -- yet looks so distinguished!
what u mean
Distinguished child killer.
this is one of the best things I've ever seen

He's a great story teller!
Yes he is!
He is a murderer. Murdered 2 children. Has no remorse.
@@TheCoolOwen that was accidental
@@timburr4453 he knew what he was doing was reckless. He didn’t care.

Was Jenny naked in Logan's Run?

KFM is so great.
thought he was persian he did a good job in his role into the night
In Trailers From Hell Landis comments on the alternate title used for Schlock (i.e 'banana monster').
Why can't I get Schlock on DVD?
too valuable
arrow video put it out on blu ray
If you have a Roku you can find it by doing a search. It's free on some hidden channels.
@@Esus4 I bought the bluray and it's awsome. :)
The conversation he referenced in Casablanca took place between Rick and Captain Renault (Claude Rains.) Sydney Greenstreet played Ferrari.

Was actually Claude Raines who had that exchange with Bogart in Casablanca. Not that it matters. 😁
He should write a book of his early experience in film
amazing he remembers the name of the kids parents. who did the gorilla suit
I wonder if Jennifer Jason Leigh is friends with John Landis...
