Blues Brothers is the best movie of all time.... You will be able to watch it in 2156 in space and still be awesome...that's just how awesome it is from start to finish.
John Belushi will personally come to your house in the middle of the night.. lolol I love it Landis is such a funny guy always seems like hes in a great mood. Cant imagine him pissed off
I am definitely on the side of those who think John Landis was responsible for how great the video for thriller was as opposed to those who think Michael Jackson "made" John Landis.
John Landis seems like a cool guy. The one thing though I always think of first sadly is the Twilight Zone movie. I wonder how he looks back on that now that hes older and wiser.
no disrespect intended but in 1969 Ted Kennedy senator (D) Massachusetts never got convicted for leaving Mary home Kopechne to drown and didn't report accident 18 hours he got suspended sentences I know was years before but he should have been jailed but they wouldn't jail a Kennedy
Landis got a bad rep over the Twilight Zone disaster. Even worse, the film wasnt as great as the tv show. The first thirty minutes or so is excellent-Dan Ackroyd as the monster, the man who goes back in time-out after that the movie falls apart. It was a big mistake to do remakes of the tv episodes. After the TZ disaster Spielberg broke contact with Landis (the two were close friends)
Man, I stay very sad when I think about the terrible accident in the Twilight Zone The Movie and about poor Vic Morrow and the poor children. Everybody talks that John Landis should be in bars, maybe he should be or maybe not, I don't know. I wasn't even there when the accident happened, in fact, I wasn't even born to judge him or give my opinion to say that he deserve this or that, if he is responsible or not. But, I must admit that Landis is a great director, The Blues Brothers is a such good movie and An American Werewolf in London too.

best line ever "It's a hundred and six miles to chicago, we got a full tank a gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses."
"Hit it"........
I want to read that massive script.
The Blues bros alone makes him my favorite director.
I was late to email too but I can't live without it now.

MusicLounge Does he have regrets for that, I would feel terrible if I caused some body to die from a helicopter.
MusicLounge Holy he just doesn't have any feelings for any body else.
John Landis is a Genius.
Seen this movie hundreds of times, no wonder I'm hung.

@@lorenepperson2266 What's that have to do with Landis and the Twilight Zone movie?
Landis seems to be such a fun cool guy. He always gives great interviews
Nice video and fun to watch. Take care now.
So perceptive what he said about websites
"I don't think so man...those lights are off on purpose..."

He's not dead. Wtf?
I love hearing about his memories on the first movie, what are his thoughts on BB2K?
ROFL, Donna Mills killed me....
Wow.
Pretty cool, bro.
Tell us more about the stuff happening 'between takes'.
jesus, thanks for the movie.
Why did it take over 10 years to come to home Video 1990 was the VHS release..... I never understood that.
Wrong. I bought it on VHS in 1981, the first VHS tape I ever owned. It was $50 and I still have, it was worth every penny!
@TheComedyfan123 Kids here worse it school.... I think something is stuck up something that it shouldn't be.
This horrible human being should be behind bars. He has blood on his hands.
"michael mades u! " "you are who you are because of Michael Jackson!"
Now that's funny! LOL God Bless You!
@skrason completely agree, plus everyone has a right to free speech :)
He left out Belushi was extremely difficult on set and often wasted.

Blues isn't American. And rocknroll came from its own imagination.
He should watch his language, kids might be watching.
Shut the fuck up
