I have stayed twice at this campground, 2018 and 2019, and it is a very nice campground, quiet and especially convenient to the Chimney Rock historic site. The Chimney Rock guided tour was one of the most enjoyable and educational experiences I had during the 2018 trip out west. The Camp Host was especially helpful.
I didn’t notice any highway noise at site 12 especially at night. Sites 1-4 and the upper 20’s did have a little noise when we walked thru in the morning.
@@CampgroundRecon Thanks for the quick reply! We are looking forward to visiting that area in the spring of 2021. We will give Ute Campground a try, thanks to you. I want to visit all of the Ancestral Pueblo ruins; they are so cool.
Thanks!! Was trying to figure out what site to reserve for an upcoming trip thanks so much for doing this. :)
Exactly why we do this. I remember trying to reserve our site here and there was no info available. Glad it was helpful!

We were surprised at how nice it was. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Thank you for sharing this very informative video!
Glad to help out! We reserved a site for this trip and had to blindly pick a campsite since there weren't any pics online. It's why we do this.
@@CampgroundRecon After seeing the video I made reservations at once.
Really good video
Thanks! I really enjoyed making this one
I'm with you on my feelings about seeing Rattle snake signs! Otherwise it looks to be a nice camp ground. Thank you!
There will be a few more of those in upcoming videos. I guess I never thought about how many there could be in SW Colorado.
Hello are ATV's allowed in the campground?
I don't believe they are in this one.
Great video! I thought I heard some highway noise in the beginning of the video? Did it diminish at night? Is the campground close to US 160? Thanks!

Nice camp sites
I was surprised at how empty it was. We stayed there on Labor Day weekend
I'm glad you explored the area..
Hello
Hi Rudy!
