Here's a simple acronym to help reprogram your mind: CAFI
C - Clarity: Be clear in what you want to believe - works best with *writing*
A - Affirmations: Tell your subconscious what you want to believe - works best with *meditation*
F - Facts: Find logical proof to support your belief - works best with *reading*
I - Identity : Become the person who believes - works best with *action*

Not everyone can be a rockstar, for example. You need to have a good singing voice. Most people don't. So you cannot simply believe that you have and then manifest it. You either have a good voice or you don't.
Same with songwriting. Someone like Elton John for instance, wrote a tune spontaneously, on the spot after a TV audience member asked if he could do it. He rattled one off in a couple of minutes ! Because he had God given ability to do so. For the rest of us, we couldn't do that no matter how much we believed we could.

I feel ya, but Dr. Bruce Lipton does not have a correct understanding of epigentics. I think childhood traumas are better dealt with in proper (expensive) therapy with a psychologist who understands the specific type of trauma. Otherwise, we are just working hard at overcome "demons" while hardly keeping our heads above water.
Many people (myself especially) have tried multiple psychologists before finding someone who was suitable. This is emotionally difficult since talking about traumas with so many different people, so many times, is overwhelming.

Great video. Dr. Bruce Lipton is absolutely right. Ultimately your beliefs, values and the identity you have acquired over a period of time, especially during your imprint period - 0 - 7 years profoundly controls your life. What is scary is that they are all at the subconscious level. It is possible to unearth them and replace them easily and effectively if you know the right tools or you have access to people who are adept at using such tools.

Thanks for this. Wasn't Dr. Bruce Lipton featured in the documentary " Root Cause "?. I like how he tied in the subconscious to biology. I read "the power of your subconscious mind" when I was 17. been practicing the techniques for years, but when my relationship started failing I stopped believing in myself. It may have even been before that. I look back, now at 52 and think " yup, there was a turning point " My ex-wife did not believe that a person could think their way to health. I've known this for a very long time, but what I didn't recognize is that a person can think their way to sickness also. I've tried to influence my children to think positively and use their subconscious to get better sleep, fend off illness, do better in school. I fought a battle with my ex-wife over this for years and her argument was " you never took biology, you don't know anything " ( she's a nurse ). She also convinced my children that I didn't know anything with the same argument. At the height of our dysfunction, I got sick with a brain infection. Had it not been for excellent medical care, and my original programming I'm sure that I would have died. ( but at the time, it never even came into my mind that I would die ) Many health care people I spoke with said this to me afterward. What they did not know about me is that I had parents that taught me I could achieve anything. I remember thinking "Hey, these surgeons and nurses know what they're doing. It's my job to believe I'm going to get better. the rest is up to them" Now is my time to re-set and re-train. Removing the negative influences in my life is where I'm starting. remembering my dad's advice " you are what you think about "...and the last advice he gave me before he passed away; " Be kind "

@@kiyingidavid2339 Hi, David. Glad to hear that you’ve been experiencing positive change as a result of your training experiences. Gratitude trainers were very open to me about about the methods that support their approach. They don’t provide citations for every aspect of the training, which is why I enjoyed this broad overview by Dr. Lipton, which seems to touch on various aspect of the training, reframing in particular. I hope that helps answer your question.

Don't be fooled. Headphones at night does NOT trigger gene expression.
Epigenetics are (by definition) beyond our control. It's kind of like "potential". If you have "potential" to love wine (due to a genetically sensitive tongue), then you may love it at first sip. Listening to mantras or sounds of wine will never change this. Gene expression (epigenetics) are not within our control.
However, people have been claiming science has New Age powers and giving their money to Deepak Chopra and Tony Robbins and such and such and so on and so forth for decades and centuries and so on and so forth
