Fun fact: the tunnel is actually a water slide. Van Egdom was a Dutch waterslide manufacturer and conveniently one of their slide models fit perfectly around Speed Of Sound’s lift hill, so Walibi Holland bought it
@@aaronlesko1929 I don't think Psyke Underground also uses a waterslide, considering the shape of the tunnel is more like the tunnels you see on every other rollercoaster, and I can't name a waterslide shaped similar to it.
Now it does tho it has been synced when the cart lets go, before (last time I went) it was just one audio track, now the track switches when let go twice (first drop, and second backwards drop😂)
I was wondering that, too. Maybe too dangerous to have people in the loading area when the train is going through at top speed? Could be an insurance issue or something.
Cause of the sound. The employees are wearing ear protectors, the sound is unbearable in the station itself. The music is onboard, speakers inside the station and the train runs and breaks in the station at full force. Oh and dont forget the people screaming, and that echoing in the station, almost always buy fastpass, and then you get inside the station, but the sound is absurd.
It’s not per se dangerous to be standing that close to the moving train considering the station has gates. They keep guests waiting outside of the loading station because of the sound that the coaster produces combined with the fact that it’s a fully enclosed station with walls on all sides. I rode Troy at Toverland recently which doesn’t even have an enclosed station but the ride does pass through the station building halfway through the layout, and even with that station only having a roof and nothing else the sound is deafening. I can only imagine how loud it’d be if there were walls on all sides

Fascinating! Is there any chance this is what they did with the spikes on Psyke Underground as well?
Fascinating
Cool

Man that backwards looping in the back row pulls so many forces it‘s amazing
I always go in the back row and I am always dizzy & confused when I get out 😂.
@ErwinPPP Yeah but it's always fun so you'll do it every time you're there 😂
That was awesome. Was fun to watch. Great video

You got so lucky with the perfect timing on the first drop there, that barely happens 😂
