I love the “granny heel” because I can walk in them so much easier than a regular high heel! 😊
Especially if at an outdoor event or cobblestone streets. Plus I like the look of them my grandma wore Ferragamos

Best work shoe ever. I had a similar style but not Chanel which I wore so much (5+ years). Eventually I had to throw them away because I used them so much that the inner lining was destroyed. I wish I could afford the real ones.

The “granny” heel is back in style .. block heel now ❤ in my opinion they never go out of style .. like a kitten heel .. very sophisticated elegant .. and they are very flattering to the ankle.. I have them in a few colors ❤❤❤

Use your brooches as clasps and/or enhancers on long strings of pearls / beads / crystal station necklaces. Something I love to do with my vintage jewellery ♥️

Been dreaming of the granny shoes since my 20s. I love them.
I love this kind of video. Even in my wardrobe I remember being so obsessed with something and when I look at it now, I'm like what??? You should do a video of the pieces that when you first looked at them you didn't like, but they grew on you and you bought them.
The Chanel shoe was created in 1957. They would suit you more if your style was more classic but you always have a lil touch of glamour. Sell them 2nd hand.
I have quite a good collection of brooches, YSL, Versace, Loewe... I just love them, I add them with coats and jackets, they just elevate any outfit. Brooches make any outfit look expensive and chic. Just like jewellery! Am obsessed! Hopefully will own a Chanel one someday 😊

I have to disagree on the Chanel shoes. Basically the ballet flats with a lift. They're classic and classy. IMO! ❤

Hi Sophie! I love the Chanel heels... they are very quiet luxury, French chic, timeless! Your style is more glam, I would say. Also I'm not a huge LV lover anymore but the Spring Street bag is beautiful. I always enjoy an LV bag that is a mix of materials (just a hint of monogram, no more) 🙂

Great video. I felt the same way about my granny shoes and wore them a few times. I sold them on the real real and basically got my money back. Don’t regret it. I love the flat slingback Chanels much more.

Hang on to the granny heels! You may need them someday, I had to get rid of all of my narrow heels after I broke my ankle and tore the ligament. I think they would look nice with a pair of more casual pants too.

Pleeeease, enough with Idyl! In the past week every time I watch a fashion video it starts with a long flog of Idyl jewellery. It’s so obvious that they have gone to great lengths to get every fashion influencer on UA-cam to flog their stuff and it’s getting so tedious.
Other than that this was a good video. I used to like the logo brooches and earrings from Chanel and the Hermes bracelets but in recent years I’ve grown out of them and even find them rather tacky and I wonder what I was thinking to actually wear them. It’s funny how taste changes over the years.
Like so many people below I love the Chanel slingbacks, or in my case, my Vaneli dupes. The real ones don’t fit me. But I think they are elegant, timeless and so comfortable.
The Goyard is my favourite. And of course the Ferragamo.

Also I'm looking for the perfect set of staple-piece small ( but shiny) diamond studs but no matter the proce range all the ones I buy online seem too tall( as opposed to low-profile) and not super shiny.. Ok so I don’t feel so bad because I too purchased the Chanel “granny” shoes and never wore them…😑 oh and also add the same design but the Chanel heels with the pearls on the heel, those I literally wore them in a phot. I could kick myself like over and over again.

Sophie I have watch you for years and never commented. I am so, so hurt that you called the shoes in your hand "Granny shoes". If you put on a highly tailored suit (w/bound button holes in the jacket, and esp a skirt) that coord w/ them, and the right jewelry and handbag you look well dressed and fabulous. My preference is not "block" heels but sharp and elegant shoes are my style. Some look homey and no where near style, just like a lot of the higher heels.
I grew up wearing heels and having to run in them to catch a bus, or something. Most women today can't walk in heels period... all hunched over and taking steps like they are picking their way through a maze, or holding so tight as if they will fall in a second. So if they need a heel these are valuable to them; young, old, and granny. Look at those walking around in tennis (not so called atheletic shoes/sneakers) style is thrown off when they are parading around and you get to their feet, a style disaster ensues. Put those shoes on and wear them, please...
I couldn't stop laughing, so I am just picking with you; no harm intended. As a friend of mine says, "we can stomp a heel"; meaning we know how to wear and be comfortable in any heel without running to take it off. Nope, we're not grannies .
For my mini bags I just use them for going out to bars. My nano peekaboo fits a decent amount for how tiny it is.
I just don’t expect them to fit my phone.

To get real diamonds, it's not that expensive. Get the real thing instead of fake. I just can't get my head around synthetic diamonds, really. Yes, it's probably fun to play around with, but no, it's a definite pass for me. Yeah, the slingbacks are probably not your style, i would love them with a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt, lol.
chanel shoes are just not that exiting, boring actually. Those shoes are simply grannie core, hideous.
