- Matooke is the staple food for people living in Central Uganda. Preparing it the local way is not a walk in the park. On this lucky day, after work, i returned home to my family and promised them, i was revising my skill in preparing a local dish. I had the kitchen to my self and later, there we were dinning together and munching away on a meal fully prepared by mummy.

Whoow, i luv cooking like this…i was taught to include even the sauce onto the wrapped food in banans leaves…… the aroma from this kind of food is the best…👆🏽.… inclusive meat and a tiny package of vegetables( Balanced diet) ….evthg in a big and wide sauce pan….i wld wake up by 6 in the morning to cook and serve at 4pm.
Believe me i had time to watch series while my luwombo cooked itself ON A CHARCOAL STOVE…. so DELICIOUS.👍🏽😋 Luwombo is an ” All inclusive meal ”🌟🌟🌟🌟….it’s like spa to me….. i enjoy each step of it…..the pressing of matooke is my best which l call ”massaging matooke.”😍😍

I can also add a box of any kind of sauce with vegetables in that kind of sized saucepan of Farida...i was also taught a lot to the extent that the size of saucepan doesn’t matter sometimes but how you pack whatever you want to cook in it.
@@琳达琳 - Yes, i knw but my point with this is…..we were many ofcourse and a big sauscepan was for the quantity of food. This size suits Faridah’s family so…oh yes size matters according to the nummer of pple in a home. 👊🏽
