Good comparison, I have to say I absolutely hate the sound and feel of Aerojet over last years ltd. They got rid of the Milled infinity face and now the Cobra just feels way more harsh than before. Can’t speak for tour edge sound and feel but they continue to make great clubs and they all have a lifetime warranty. Also which model of Mizuno ball are you using for test?
I’ll take fwy anytime and that’s what appears what Tour Edge does. Very curious against the Ping. And TE prices always get slashed in 6mos…good timing for my birthday.
The TE C model is rated for people with high swing speed and less forgiving than the E. He probably could have used the C also but may have not got the same accuracy.
Tour edge exotics woods/hybrids are just stunning. Been using them for the past couple years over any other brand. Miura baby blades for irons but tour edge for woods.
Good catch! I didn't even notice that. Should be regular Aerojet instead of the max. There were alot of hooky shots and I was like whaaa? Makes sense now.
I noticed the draw biased drivers you have chosen have lost. Mizuno230x (draw biased) vs ping g430 max(not draw biased) .Aerospewd max(draw biased) vs tour edge( not draw biased). Why not have apples to apples competition
Course is what matters. Nobody hits it the same on course as simulator. I think you need to start all over and retest every club outside and then do the tourney. 😅
Wow. That sounds pretty time consuming for Gabe to start all over. Maybe you can do the tournament and put your videos on UA-cam and you can let us all know how it went for you and your results.
@@LetsPlayThru understandable but if comparing them, my opinion is they should be in same classification. I really Like your videos, your swingspeed is exactly the same as mine, thats why i watch your vids. I just think low spin drivers vs low spin, draw bias vs draw bias and neutral vs neutral would be better. Keep up the good work Gabe!
So Gabe I picked up a Sim 2 Max driver’ looking forward to playing it, hoping to get my Takomo 101’s ready to play first game of the season if not, looking at first of May, which might be first play. Then it will be piecing my wife a set, she really wants the LTD driver and wood, and a set of Cobra T rails.
Ya he's kind of in between a C and E I agree. E could be used for anyone really but it is more forgiving whereas the C you would be able to work more. Im similar to this guy in my swing and I probably would go for the E
I normally love your videos but you have used the draw bias Aerojet Max here. Ive watched a lot of reviews and most people are losing about 10 yards between standard Aerojet and the Aerojet Max. Not a fair review. If you did get the most out of it show us that in a Aerojet comparison video because every time you use a draw bias driver it loses the bracket challenge.
Gabe..I would like to see you hit the drivers at 10.5* and then drop down to 9.5* or 9* and see if there are any difference. After the March madness. I have tried it. I didn't see a lot. Maybe 1 yard.
The ‘C’ series driver would be more “workable” than the ‘E’ series. My entire bag is Tour Edge Exotics C721 all bought on clearance. The driver and fairway woods are the best I’ve ever played. 7hcp
I Love your videos Gabe, but your Golf Shot is a natural draw. I don't think you should have chosen the Cobra Max, which is a draw-biased club. I believe it caused you to hit those snap hooks on the course. Simulators and Golf Courses are obviously different. 🏌🏽♂️
I get where you are coming from, but the Reg Aerojet would still not have won the Value category (same price) or the Forgiveness category (less forgiving) and that was what the difference was in this matchup.
Constantly snap hooks the Coba left….. is using the draw based Cobra max 🙄

I prefer the LTDx too. Better looks and feel
Cannot wait for next driver bracket driver review, TSR 4 vs Srixon ZX5 LS
Correct me if I’m wrong, but seems the Kai’Li shaft is not a good fit for you
I’ll take fwy anytime and that’s what appears what Tour Edge does. Very curious against the Ping. And TE prices always get slashed in 6mos…good timing for my birthday.
nice review👍. Hopefully srixon ZX5 mk2 LS will be in your next driver bracket review.
Are you using an Aero Jet or Max? You definitely do not need the Max.
I have a tour edge e722 3 wood and it performs really nicely from the fairway and touch.
Love this series so far 👌🏻 can't wait to see which wins. Currently have a Corba SZ driver. Would love a new one but need to learn to hit this first 😂
Before watching, im going with Tour edge! I play the c721 and love it! Can't wait until i can upgrade to the 723 series
My entire bag is C721. Excellent clubs.
Tour Edge has always brought a good to great product to the market for 30 years!
I only tried them out about 3 years ago. Wish I tried them sooner
What launch monitor are you using please?
Garmin G80 it’s a nice mobile unit
Is there a C723 this year, the one you tested is the E model? The C model always was their best one…
The TE C model is rated for people with high swing speed and less forgiving than the E. He probably could have used the C also but may have not got the same accuracy.
Loving the videos man, keep it up!
Tour edge exotics woods/hybrids are just stunning. Been using them for the past couple years over any other brand. Miura baby blades for irons but tour edge for woods.
So why are you using the cobra max which is the draw biased driver not fair test
Good catch! I didn't even notice that. Should be regular Aerojet instead of the max. There were alot of hooky shots and I was like whaaa? Makes sense now.
I tested all three models in the simulator, the Max was clearly the best choice for me.
@@LetsPlayThru in this video it looked like captain hook
@@LetsPlayThru Did you hit toe dippers on the simulator?
@@SanjuroCA but you said the cobra was better for workablity LOL

I chose the model from each driver line that performed best for me in the simulator.

I am 100% certain, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that today’s result would not have changed no matter which Aerojet I used.
I still have my TE C 721, thanks Gabe
I don't know, but the shaft of the Tour Edge fit you better😊
How do you hit fade and draw shots on purpose?
Ball position and swing path

Congrats Christopher. Hope things warm up sooner for you this year.
The SIM 2 Max is simply the best driver ever made, no debate about it!
Why did you not use the tour edge c723? It seems like it would be more of a driver you would play.
Ya he's kind of in between a C and E I agree. E could be used for anyone really but it is more forgiving whereas the C you would be able to work more. Im similar to this guy in my swing and I probably would go for the E

That video has already been made. The Aerojet max is the best model by a long shot for me. ua-cam.com/video/9SsD0h9UIfU/v-deo.html
How can you score forgiveness and work ability when you can’t hit to straight drives in a row ?
That’s exactly the reason I CAN score it
Gabe..I would like to see you hit the drivers at 10.5* and then drop down to 9.5* or 9* and see if there are any difference. After the March madness. I have tried it. I didn't see a lot. Maybe 1 yard.
For me that extra 1° loft is about 10 yards

Yes that’s right
Yes but you lose some of the forgiveness with the C model , personally for the sake of a few yards I'd go E model for the driver.
Always amazes me how high you tee it up for your Driver lol
Woo hoo!!! Go Tour Edge!!
And I still can't kick my Original AMP Irons out if the bag! 5 or 6 re grips?
Still think Paradym got a raw deal with you Tournament. Stealth 2 and Paradym should not be in 1st Bracket..
Team Tour Edge Here! Go TE! Go! 😂
Ever think of weakening your grip a bit? Every time I pop by to watch, seems like you’re leaning on hooks instead of draws
He swings in to out like 7 degrees, so that's also a big factor.
Imagine playing Tour Edge
Wtf are you talking about?
@@Broxty It’s pretty straight fwd
Do you realize lots of pga pros play tour edge?
American made, lifetime warranty, quality materials unlike most brands
@@tonyfb26 Yeah - they're over 50.
Since im not a pro or amateur, I’ll take forgiveness anytime
Close match.

You can't say definitively that the standard Aerojet would have been less forgiving.@@LetsPlayThru
