I was born at the very tail end of the baby boom. When we were young my sister and I would explore the attic in our cousins' house (my oldest cousin was about a decade older than me) and marvel at all the old toys. I have a vague memory of a rubber face among them. We had great fun with all of their Mad magazines as well.
I recently found my childhood rubber faced teddy-he’s at least 65 yo! He has the cutest little face. So I cleaned him up, gave him a red bow tie, and now he is proudly displayed. I named him Black Nose. Because he has a… you know. I also had a doll named Pocetbook. Don’t know why.
I’ve been trying to find this rubberface animal toy for a while and I wonder if you have any idea. it has round eyes and a big black triangle nose and long ears and I can’t find it anywhere !
