Lakeland view with a fire place built on the side of mountain

Directions , take A591 from Bothel heading towards Bassenthwaite, see sign on the roadside for Whitrigg,Torpenhow,Ireby, take the left turn go on 400 metres look up on the hillside to your right you will see what appears to be a stone monument, its actually the chimney to the fireplace. Dont know what this place was used for perhaps a shepherds hut ? let me know please
