I love Ancelotti, but I agreed with everything you have said. He is too stubborn, why are we still playing Lucas Vasquez, anyone in that’s team can play better than him. Also, Tchouameni is just an overvalued player, even in his natural position, he gets flustered very easily. I think he is not great but I would have placed tchouameni at right back, Asencio at center back and Ceballos from the beginning. This shows that when we go into the market, after getting Arnold and Davies, we need to get a new defensive midfielder and more depth in the midfield for teams like this. This was a horrendous performance. I don't mind losing because it's the nature of the game, but it how we lose that counts, this performance was not in Real Madrid's DNA. We played with no tactics, no structure, no passion, and no courage to come back, even against 10 men. Most shockingly, there was no desire to win in the final! This is unacceptable. Ancelotti is always bailed out by individual brilliance, and when players like Vini don't show up, he is exposed! He is stubborn and unwilling to make changes based on merit, like bringing in Raúl Asensio for Tchouaméni. All teams know that L. Vázquez is a ''free-way pass'' for any attacker, yet Ancelotti makes no changes. When was the last time we had a brilliant, convincing game or win against big teams? It's been years! What pained me to see to was we tried the exact same thing that we had tried the first game. Except for hopeful long balls , we literally had no plan to attack while the less said about the defence the better. Sure, there were individuals who had brain fades during critical moments in the game, but looking at the bigger picture, I don't blame the players much. Just taking your point about the midfield overload or the low block , those are advanced insights that untrained eyes would miss - but does it take a trained eye to play a CB at a CB ? Waaaaaaay better than Camavinga if he's given the chance and he's surrounded with top talented players. Victor Muñoz can easily compete with Rodrygo. He's a great forward/right wing, with amazing dribbling and speed and shooting accuracy. Gonzalo Garcia is also a technical forward, like a combination of Benzema and Raul Gonzalez. And I'm not even talking about Joan Martinez in defense and Cesar Palacios in the midfield who unfortunately tore their damn cruciate ligaments. My only gripe with the ref last night was 8 minutes injury time. It took that just to sort out the red card. I honestly thought 15 minutes would be appropriate, and even ESPN Deportes thought so. However, I don't think there can be any complaints as he saved both Camavinga and Vinicius from red cards.

to start, tchouameni should not have even been close to the starting lineup. i understand ancelotti's thought process with wanting to have someone with more experience, but tchouameni has been horrible all season and acensio has been fantastic the games that he has played. we saw asencio against liverpool how calm, collected, and solid he played. thats what we needed yesterday. as soon as asencio came on we played better, defensively at least. if acensio doesnt start the next match, this is gonna be a very long rest of the season lol
Fede, Jude and Arda play with high intensity. We always see them in both offence and defence. 4-1 (Camavinga)- 3 (Fede Jude Arda)- 2 must be the formation when playing against big teams like Barca.

Real Madrid conceded 17 goals against Barcelona in 4 matches, 9 of which came in the last two. Ancelotti supervised that. Flick benched a fit Araujo, playing Cubarsi who is 17. But again, Ancelotti ignored Asencio a proven natural defender and started an inconsistent Tchouameni who isn't drilled in defending. Losing 4-0 and 5-2 to the same Barca is a sackable sin. Like I wrote elsewhere, what happened to the no-nonsense Florentino Perez? Santiago Solari and Lopetegui weren't this bad in El Clasico when they were sacked. There's over-reliance on individual brilliance with obvious little tactical input. Though Ancelotti has enough credit in the bag for what he has accomplished in the last 2 and half years, he has to go at the end of this season - irrespective of the team's remaining results.
at least now I think Carlo will have the permission to put tchouameni on the bench because I'm sure he was being forced to use him because he was too expensive.

These are great questions. I think most socios have a few criticisms of Florentino, but none of these criticisms would be enough to eclipse all the good he has done for the club. It would be very difficult to beat him in an election because he is widely considered to be the best manager / president in world football. This will likely be his last tenure as president, primarily because of his age. As far as replacements, I would imagine Jose Angel Sanchez could be a good candidate. He has been the number 2 man for years now, is widely respected, and understands how to run a club. He would be a good fit, I think. There have also been rumors about Rafa Nadal becoming president at some point. But I think we will see Florentino stay in power for another term, but likely his last.
Lucas might be failing but the main issue is not Lucas. Look at the running distances... Barca with 10 men on the field ran much more than Real Madrid, 114 to 112 km. You don't need to look to statistics to see that major difference actually. When you watch the game you just feel it. Barca looked fit and active, Real Madrid was as always sluggish and static. Barca only has to compensate for Lewandoski who is not running and pressing much. However, Real Madrid has to compensate for Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrygo. So, Fede, Camavinga and Bellingham have to run extra to compensate the forward, which in general is the reason why Real Madrid sucked this season against teams who are physically strong. That is also why 4-4-2 is more balanced for Real Madrid instead of 4-3-3 or so called 4-2-3-1.
The Tchouameni experiment is over. Asencio needs to start every game now. Mendy also had a terrible game. Fede will probably need to play in Lucas’ position now. What I have seen last night was like dirt on my eyes and I don't want to see anyone defending Carlo because he has had the chance to correct the situation several times but nothing happens. Every chance for Barca generated a goal, 4 goals in the first and an early goal in the second. The red card for me is like winning the Super Cup because it has saved us from an unforgettable scandal maybe even save Ancelottis job which it should not. Now let's take Carlo and how he started the match: No pressure, Barca's players get through the midfield and defense with ease. The game formation was completely useless, only long balls from Courtois because we had no plan on how to deliver the ball. Camavinga and Valverde were out on the wings to help our useless full-backs and left the midfield completely empty because no one was working home. When the coach sees that Tchouameni and Vasquez are not up to the job, he waits until the 60th minute to act, another coach had made the substitution right after the 1-1 goal. Fate gives you a little luck and Barca gets a red card but you don't take advantage of it. Barca keeps rolling the ball around like it's Madrid playing with one less man. And just like the first half you don't press to win the ball back as quickly as possible. Barca dominated with 10 players as they did with 11. After the red card I didn't expect anything other than 2-3 goals to save the reputation. In summary, Carlo served the game to Barca on a golden tray. I blame the board. We HAD TO sign an extra centre-back in the summer. That'd give us a lot more possibilities - maybe Rudiger would play rightback. Maybe something else. But starting the season with TWO centrebacks (Rudiger and Militao), one of whom is coming back from an ACL injury, was a recipe for disaster that everyone saw coming. Everyone except Florentino Perez. Our defence has been SHOCKING. It's a disgrace. Lucas Vazquez is just not good enough. He could be a good winger for a team like Sevilla, but he is NOT capable of being Real Madrid's starting rightback. As for Tchoameni - we need to cut our losses and flog him off to Man United or some other sucker. He's a bad pivot, and he's a bad centreback. He's just bad. Barca won fair and square. I felt that the second half was worse than the first. Because 1-It was obvious that no message was relayed from carlo to the players because exactly after the first minute mark we conceded the fifth in exactly the same way we conceded the first. 2- The team showed to character after the red card, it’s really appalling to watch a team unable to form 1 meaning attacking play for 40 minutes straight against 10 men! The only play came (of course individually) from Mpabbe in the 95th min. I’m pretty sure that carlo knows exactly that tchouameni and vazquez are unfit to play in the defending position yet he plays them there because HE IS STUBBORN! He wants to show the media and fans that I’m right and you’re wrong, also he wants to please Flo-rez because it is obvious that starting tchouameni anywhere on the field is a must for Perez and he is unwilling to consider buying another RB this winter. He only made the right subs (Asencio and move Valverde to RB) after he conceded the fifth and was scared sh*tless and realized that this could really go to 9-1 or even 10-1. That is not the right mentality for the coach and from the board as well. I really do not blame any player today and yes, even vazquez and tchouameni are both not to blame. We start every game with 2 liabilities- Vazquez and Mendy. A lot has been said about Vazquez but you need to watch Mendy play and you'll understand why we concede goals in every game. Mendy cannot defend nor attack, what the heck is he doing in that team.

@ Jude’s positioning on the pitch literally determines the balance of the team - if he pushes further up the camavinga and valverde are left exposed and neither of them are deep lying creative midfielders. If Carlo does drop Rodrygo for the Diamond 4-4-2 it only works with a ball playing midfielder to help camavinga and valverde as Jude will push further up the pitch. The issue will always be balance .. Barca showed a more balanced team support in attack support in mid structure in defense … clear ideas on how to progress the ball forward to the attackers … We know 4-4-2 Diamond works but 4-3-3 has all the stars on the pitch so it means Bellingham must play more like Gerrard/Scholes/Zizou as opposed to Lampard/Kaka … he needs to drop deeper to control the ball and play passes into space for Mbappe Vini but then again he is 21 and his situational awareness from a team dynamic perspective and tempo of the game is still being developed If you rewatch the game you will see plenty of times where he was caught up field walking and ball watching - which means we had 4 players upfront and 2 in midfield as opposed to 5 in midfield with Vini and Rodrygo dropping back -- in big matches a 4-5-1 gives us the compact approach and viable counter attacking solutions We should play to the team strength which is athletic ball carriers and fast players in space , if you’re not running and breaking lines then the ball is being released quicker

I can't get what Carlo had in mind to repeat exactly the same line up and layout that made us lose the last time. Carlo has been testing some different line ups and layouts that were working better, but now, back to the same losers!!!???. We seem to be exactly at the same point of the terrible start of the season. We clearly was needing another midfielder at minute 10, but stubbornly Carlo kept the layout with Rodrygo in front until the second half. The worst impression yesterday was that the players showed no faith whatsoever for a comeback even with one more player. Really sad night. I keep in my point that Camavinga is not a good midfielder and never will be anything special. He lacks intelligence, which is the most important asset for a low midfielder. He can't think, seems to have a sort of obsessive-compulsive disorder with the ball and doesn't seem to understand game situations at all. He's like the usual warrior of useless or inconvenient battles, which we could witness just yesterday. And alike with Tchouameni, we could also see that the very team neither trust on him to take the ball out from the defence line hence those many useless long passes. Mendy is also someone we better get rid off. Lucas Vázquez can't play any more important match there, sorry. Thcouameni simply doesn't have enough level to play in the Real Madrid. He's not being capable of leading the low midfield at all. In this aspect, he's not getting much better results than Tchouameni. Even Ceballos is performing better there despite he's not an alleged top notch midfielder. If he, Tchouameni and Valverde are so good, why this midfield is most of the time demolished by so many of our rival's? This can not be just because of Ancelloti's risky tactic layouts. They seem quite incapable of passing the ball to each other to progress as soon they are under some pressure and, in my opinion, this points to lack of footballistic intelligence, which, I'd say, is exactly what we need there. True that Camavinga's performance was quite poor that day, but may be forgiven because no one is always brilliant and the whole team was awful. The problem I see is the kind of mistakes he made, which, again, points to a short footballistic mindset. To check how it works this season, I would love to see Bellingham along with Modric or Ceballos in the low center midfield, Camavinga an Valverde at both sides (helping lateral defenders when needed) and just two forwarders. I think Bellingham has what it's required to play there: intelligence, fighting character, ball control, game vision, leadership etc. The problem is that it would imply a lost in front and I'm not sure he would be very fond of. For the next season we need to hire at least one top notch specialist there.

Lucas is critically involved with nearly every goal conceded while he's on the pitch and offers little going forward. What's the point? When already down by 3 or 4 to Barca, why not risk losing 12-7 by going all out attack and hoping to actually let our quality show through? This squad just confuses me to no end.

This was a horrendous performance. I don't mind losing because it's the nature of the game, but it how we lose that counts, this performance was not in Real Madrid's DNA. We played with no tactics, no structure, no passion, and no courage to come back, even against 10 men. Most shockingly, there was no desire to win in the final! This is unacceptable.
Ancelotti is always bailed out by individual brilliance, and when players like Vini don't show up, he is exposed! He is stubborn and unwilling to make changes based on merit, like bringing in Raúl Asensio for Tchouaméni. All teams know that L. Vázquez is a ''free-way pass'' for any attacker, yet Ancelotti makes no changes. When was the last time we had a brilliant, convincing game or win against big teams? It's been years!

I listened to his pre-match interview, and he showed no belief or confidence and very doubtful and it definitely rubbing on players, and probably the reason why players were timid in the game. What pained me to see to was we tried the exact same thing that we had tried the first game. Except for hopeful long balls , we literally had no plan to attack while the less said about the defence the better. Sure, there were individuals who had brain fades during critical moments in the game, but looking at the bigger picture, I don't blame the players much. Just taking your point about the midfield overload or the low block , those are advanced insights that untrained eyes would miss - but does it take a trained eye to play a CB at a CB ? I want to avoid going on a rant on a Monday afternoon, but I would maintain what I said during Sept/October , that we need a change in direction.
I have been a Real Madrid supporter for nearly 25 years. I can count the games I have missed on one hand. This was the worst embarrassment I have felt as a fan since that 5-0 in 2010. And for the first time, I will be taking a break from watching Real Madrid. People can call me fair weather if they want, but after all these years of unconditional support, I think I have earned the pass. Call it a protest. To be clear - it’s not losing that’s the problem. 2) Camavinga is barely a sub at Real Madrid. He never convinced me honestly, and it's not the first time he makes such stupid mistake causing us penalties. I think the last one was against Rayo Vallecano if I'm not mistaken.

Losing 4-0 and 5-2 to the same Barca is a sackable sin. Like I wrote elsewhere, what happened to the no-nonsense Florentino Perez? Santiago Solari and Lopetegui weren't this bad in El Clasico when they were sacked.

These are great questions. I think most socios have a few criticisms of Florentino, but none of these criticisms would be enough to eclipse all the good he has done for the club. It would be very difficult to beat him in an election because he is widely considered to be the best manager / president in world football. This will likely be his last tenure as president, primarily because of his age. As far as replacements, I would imagine Jose Angel Sanchez could be a good candidate. He has been the number 2 man for years now, is widely respected, and understands how to run a club. He would be a good fit, I think. There have also been rumors about Rafa Nadal becoming president at some point. But I think we will see Florentino stay in power for another term, but likely his last.

Lucas might be failing but the main issue is not Lucas. Look at the running distances... Barca with 10 men on the field ran much more than Real Madrid, 114 to 112 km. You don't need to look to statistics to see that major difference actually. When you watch the game you just feel it. Barca looked fit and active, Real Madrid was as always sluggish and static.
Barca only has to compensate for Lewandoski who is not running and pressing much. However, Real Madrid has to compensate for Mbappe, Vinicius and Rodrygo. So, Fede, Camavinga and Bellingham have to run extra to compensate the forward, which in general is the reason why Real Madrid sucked this season against teams who are physically strong. That is also why 4-4-2 is more balanced for Real Madrid instead of 4-3-3 or so called 4-2-3-1.

What I have seen last night was like dirt on my eyes and I don't want to see anyone defending Carlo because he has had the chance to correct the situation several times but nothing happens.
Every chance for Barca generated a goal, 4 goals in the first and an early goal in the second.
The red card for me is like winning the Super Cup because it has saved us from an unforgettable scandal maybe even save Ancelottis job which it should not.
Now let's take Carlo and how he started the match:
No pressure, Barca's players get through the midfield and defense with ease.
The game formation was completely useless, only long balls from Courtois because we had no plan on how to deliver the ball.
Camavinga and Valverde were out on the wings to help our useless full-backs and left the midfield completely empty because no one was working home.
When the coach sees that Tchouameni and Vasquez are not up to the job, he waits until the 60th minute to act, another coach had made the substitution right after the 1-1 goal.
Fate gives you a little luck and Barca gets a red card but you don't take advantage of it. Barca keeps rolling the ball around like it's Madrid playing with one less man. And just like the first half you don't press to win the ball back as quickly as possible.
Barca dominated with 10 players as they did with 11.
After the red card I didn't expect anything other than 2-3 goals to save the reputation.
In summary, Carlo served the game to Barca on a golden tray. During every El Clasico we will regret not stepping up and scoring more than 4 goals against Barca when we had the chance in recent years.
The only small positive about the game is the hunger you saw in Mbappe Every time he got the ball.
Keep your head up, it's only the Super Cup we lost.

Our defence has been SHOCKING. It's a disgrace. Lucas Vazquez is just not good enough. He could be a good winger for a team like Sevilla, but he is NOT capable of being Real Madrid's starting rightback. As for Tchoameni - we need to cut our losses and flog him off to Man United or some other sucker. He's a bad pivot, and he's a bad centreback. He's just bad.
Barca won fair and square. And we're LUCKY it didn't end up losing by double digits. With our current defence we have no shot at winning any more trophies this year. Something has to change.
We conceded 5 goals in time span of 33 minutes and its extremely disgraceful and this has been our story in all big games , i don't understand why do Carlo always vazcuez, mendy and chuamani, the team selection was horrible and top of that we had no tactics and we had no body language
I felt that the second half was worse than the first. Because 1-It was obvious that no message was relayed from carlo to the players because exactly after the first minute mark we conceded the fifth in exactly the same way we conceded the first. 2- The team showed to character after the red card, it’s really appalling to watch a team unable to form 1 meaning attacking play for 40 minutes straight against 10 men! The only play came (of course individually) from Mpabbe in the 95th min.
I’m pretty sure that carlo knows exactly that tchouameni and vazquez are unfit to play in the defending position yet he plays them there because HE IS STUBBORN! He wants to show the media and fans that I’m right and you’re wrong, also he wants to please Flo-rez because it is obvious that starting tchouameni anywhere on the field is a must for Perez and he is unwilling to consider buying another RB this winter. He only made the right subs (Asencio and move Valverde to RB) after he conceded the fifth and was scared sh*tless and realized that this could really go to 9-1 or even 10-1. That is not the right mentality for the coach and from the board as well. I really do not blame any player today and yes, even vazquez and tchouameni are both not to blame.
This loss is solely on Perez first and Carlo second.
We are not going to win league or UCL this year. So sad to see how we preform against big sides. I’m ashamed.

Carlo plays like it’s fifa trying to get max chem and overall instead of trying to actually competing with other managers tactics.
We start every game with 2 liabilities- Vazquez and Mendy. A lot has been said about Vazquez but you need to watch Mendy play and you'll understand why we concede goals in every game. Mendy cannot defend nor attack, what the heck is he doing in that team.

The 4-3-3 is not the problem . Barca play 4-3-3 … it’s about positioning and possession… what do we do when we get the ball what do we do when we lose the ball ? 4-3-3 4-5-1 same thing 4-4-2 flat 4-4-2 Diamond also same thing it’s about Defence and attack press and possession

@ Jude’s positioning on the pitch literally determines the balance of the team - if he pushes further up the camavinga and valverde are left exposed and neither of them are deep lying creative midfielders. If Carlo does drop Rodrygo for the Diamond 4-4-2 it only works with a ball playing midfielder to help camavinga and valverde as Jude will push further up the pitch.
The issue will always be balance .. Barca showed a more balanced team support in attack support in mid structure in defense … clear ideas on how to progress the ball forward to the attackers …
We know 4-4-2 Diamond works but 4-3-3 has all the stars on the pitch so it means Bellingham must play more like Gerrard/Scholes/Zizou as opposed to Lampard/Kaka … he needs to drop deeper to control the ball and play passes into space for Mbappe Vini but then again he is 21 and his situational awareness from a team dynamic perspective and tempo of the game is still being developed
If you rewatch the game you will see plenty of times where he was caught up field walking and ball watching - which means we had 4 players upfront and 2 in midfield as opposed to 5 in midfield with Vini and Rodrygo dropping back -- in big matches a 4-5-1 gives us the compact approach and viable counter attacking solutions
We should play to the team strength which is athletic ball carriers and fast players in space , if you’re not running and breaking lines then the ball is being released quicker

The truth is Anceloti made a very bad tactical mistake, I new Vazquez would be a big problem even Tchoumeni would be too, it is time we start using Asencio in defence

He could choose for LB Fede and RB Camavinga JUST FOR THIS GAME. But he didnt. STUBBORN also. Already 3 el clasicos where Arda guler didnt play, he wasnt even subbed in, while he is their best playmaker right now.

We overload the left soo much with Jude,vini,kylian and rodrygo they are just getting in their way. And out right side is made up of a Vazquez who isnt a rb,Tchouameni who isnt a CB and an overworked Fede thats been worked into the ground covering the front guys not pressing and vazquez mistakes. And your lb is Mendy or Fran pick your poison. This should be Carlo's last season, let him finish it hopefully win another title but hes reached the limit with this team. New ideas and improvements are needed. Asencio should be a guaranteed starter, Ceballos should start a lot more games same for Arda and one of Mbappe Vini and Rodrygo has to sit.

Vini was so annoying, he now thinks he's the world's best. He was totally a thrash in yesterday's match, so he was against Mallorca. Now, except for mbappe, varverde, courtios, and maybe rodrygo, the remaining 7 players were all shit; Plus the coach. So just like in the 2nd half of October El clasico, When more than half of your fielded players decided to watch and admire Barca players, you get thrashed, humiliated, embarrassed, and dismantled like Madrid was last night. You can't keep doing same thing and expect a different outcome.
As for Ancelotti and Perez, they should both step down as coach and president respectively. Ancelotti doesn't have anything to offer this team (I have been telling my friends here in the US with me). All the trophies he's won since he came to Madrid have all been by luck and individual brilliance from the likes of Benzeman or a very serious Vinicious (the one that doesn't fight fans, ref and opponents. The one that just focus on playing football, and not thinking is the best the world has ever seen. That vini).

Carlo tactically numb and committing the same mistakes too many times, the Board sleeping on the defensive Bootes Void, Perez going soft and accepting low standards.. it's showing.
What changed? Because last night's performance was unacceptable. Much more than the result, we put on an embarrassing display of the club we are slowly becoming. Very concerning!
I can't get what Carlo had in mind to repeat exactly the same line up and layout that made us lose the last time. Carlo has been testing some different line ups and layouts that were working better, but now, back to the same losers!!!???. We seem to be exactly at the same point of the terrible start of the season. We clearly was needing another midfielder at minute 10, but stubbornly Carlo kept the layout with Rodrygo in front until the second half. The worst impression yesterday was that the players showed no faith whatsoever for a comeback even with one more player. Really sad night.
I keep in my point that Camavinga is not a good midfielder and never will be anything special. He lacks intelligence, which is the most important asset for a low midfielder. He can't think, seems to have a sort of obsessive-compulsive disorder with the ball and doesn't seem to understand game situations at all. He's like the usual warrior of useless or inconvenient battles, which we could witness just yesterday. And alike with Tchouameni, we could also see that the very team neither trust on him to take the ball out from the defence line hence those many useless long passes.
Mendy is also someone we better get rid off.
Lucas Vázquez can't play any more important match there, sorry.
Thcouameni simply doesn't have enough level to play in the Real Madrid. He's another player who seems to not understand anything. And slow, too slow.
It's hard to accept, but our forward line neither is working properly. Someone must go because we need a proper killer center forwarder.
Also hard to accept but Ancelotti's stint should be brought to an end. Personally, I would welcome a bet for more attack strategies; too many years now conceding the ball to our best rivals.
Let's hope Florentino realizes the team needs important changes and he does them, at least for the next season.

@@TheGlobalMadridista. Hi, GM. Not only you but many people rate Camavinga highly. I now see him as an OK complement for an already functional midfield, no much more. He's not being capable of leading the low midfield at all. In this aspect, he's not getting much better results than Tchouameni. Even Ceballos is performing better there despite he's not an alleged top notch midfielder. If he, Tchouameni and Valverde are so good, why this midfield is most of the time demolished by so many of our rival's? This can not be just because of Ancelloti's risky tactic layouts. They seem quite incapable of passing the ball to each other to progress as soon they are under some pressure and, in my opinion, this points to lack of footballistic intelligence, which, I'd say, is exactly what we need there.
True that Camavinga's performance was quite poor that day, but may be forgiven because no one is always brilliant and the whole team was awful. The problem I see is the kind of mistakes he made, which, again, points to a short footballistic mindset.
To check how it works this season, I would love to see Bellingham along with Modric or Ceballos in the low center midfield, Camavinga an Valverde at both sides (helping lateral defenders when needed) and just two forwarders. I think Bellingham has what it's required to play there: intelligence, fighting character, ball control, game vision, leadership etc. The problem is that it would imply a lost in front and I'm not sure he would be very fond of.
For the next season we need to hire at least one top notch specialist there.

Yup....Can't say I'm surprised but I stand by what I said. There's no panic button, no fire, not even a whiff of smoke in and/or around the Bernabeu. This was supposed to happen, Carlo and the boys overachieved last season securing his job for another season at least. Lucas Vasquez should be banned from the RB spot. So frustrating but hey, Carlo and the boys have the right to finish the season together no matter what. We fight till the end. Just a bad season that's all.

It was sucidal starting with only 3 midfielders against a proper team. We lacked balance and control. For anyone blaming Jude and Cama for a poor game has zero ball knowledge as Jude with few other players were victim of Carlo's bad game management
Starting Vasquez as RB against a proper team was a crime.
Playing with a low block with one less midfielder and shambolic full backs was a poor management
I've said it it before and ill say it again , going forward the only thing we can do against good oppositions is to play Valverde RB and Ceballos as RM
P.s Carlo should be putting more faith in Ascencio , Tchoumeni was poor today

If we're not gonna play defenders on the back line or a true 6, shouldn't we at least play all out attacking football? I'm just confused at this point. What do Vazquez or Ceballos truly offer? Lucas is critically involved with nearly every goal conceded while he's on the pitch and offers little going forward. What's the point? When already down by 3 or 4 to Barca, why not risk losing 12-7 by going all out attack and hoping to actually let our quality show through? This squad just confuses me to no end.
Players attitudes are the problem. More than tactical mistakes! In my opinion. They need to get off their high horses as they for sure are the biggest names in world football, and playing for the Biggest badge in the world. And they need to focus on Football, less on themselves and Honour the badge! Barca was in the same slump couple of years ago too.
