I'm not religious, but feel blessed for finding your videos.
Your content is about so much more than camera settings alone.

I really like the shallow depth of field image of the barn and tree. Nicely edited too.
    Great video👍🏼

Once again some great tips and advice. I’ve been using a more shallow depth of field recently and think my images have improved. Trying some street photography is a great way to practice blurring the background or foreground I find👍

In example three, you don't necessarily need a human in a photo to make it more interesting, an animal will have the same effect. Basically the human or animal becomes the subject. The road photo, as you said, is OK, but it's bland because it really doesn't have subject. By putting yourself in there, the photo became a story because now there is a subject, a point of interest for the eye of the viewer. If you were lucky at that moment, and a dog was trotting on the road when you took the photo, the photo would tell a story as well.

I've enjoyed all your videos I've seen so far, thank you again. You're right, the photos that stand the test of time and people keep coming back to do seem to be those with a human element in them. People really do enjoy looking at photos of people. Especially photos that tell a story. I'm still going to go out on my own and practise landscapes though. Good for getting to know your camera I think as a beginner. Animals could make a good substitute for people alternatively?!

I definitely agree with not having people or man made objects in a scene for the most part. However, they do add a sense of scale especially when photographing large vistas. Another excellent video. I found the subject to be very interesting. Thanks.

    Hi mate
Just joined your channel, I must say you are very helpful and consistent.
With regards to stress I can talk from experience and I fully understand we're you are.
Walking is a good way to clear the mind, and meditation helps as it's helped me.
I love walking, but nowadays, it's a struggle on long walks, but hay ho that life, today lovely blue skies, frost and mist and was unable to get out.
Will try tomorrow morning hopefully it's the same conditions
    Thank you

You know how we need to enjoy photography? We need to enjoy YT also. Regular uploads can be a real strain on one. Don’t expect all you your videos to be your best. I have not noticed a fall in quality, honest. Sometimes we can create a video that we are not that happy with but we upload it anyway. Can sometimes work out to be a very popular video. Some areas of photography can be difficult to explain as they can be quite a personal taste. You may not achieve exactly what you were hoping for but your videos are always a good watch.

Hi from Oz. Down here we are constantly looking out for water and when it does rain we all give thanks so you'll find none of us joking about droughts.
As for people in landscapes, yeah I agree depending on the landscape. Some photographers do just that and they're very good at it. It's rather spiritual.
I don't think the usual selfie in the grand landscape works the way most of us do it. When we assume the position it tends to be like a power stance as if we are the Lord of creation.
But somehow the person in the landscape should have this sense of awe and thanksgiving about them, or some kind of spirit about them..... connection with; rather than domination over, which most of us do for public media. You don't do this. The selfie you've done is very respectful of where you are. It doesn't look like a selfie but just someone enjoying their walk. Well done. This is where I get lost of course and don't know what I'm talking about.....but the spirit is like that

I really find a sheep or two adds a lot to a landscape photo, ha,ha! I am lucky that I also have opportunity to do street photography in a major city so getting the "human element" is a given. I will wait until someone comes into the frame to take the shot.

Thanks, everything always in focus is overrated and boring. Every technique has it's proper time and place.
