Worst matchup for Yamato : 1- blue kaido (nullify status effects, heals on multi hits, 70% defense), you can't do any damage to him, she is weaponless. 2- Z : he heals on you, countertype, you can't frostbite him (but yamato's Shield tank his 70% HP skill). 3- shanks fr : countertype, nullify stagger and status effects, high damage per hit. But the 70% défense boost allows Yamato to temporise against him, plus he is very vulnérable to one shot and yamato's skills hit hard, but the main reason he is lower than the other two IS because he is an attacker so you Can avoid fighting him easyer.
Best yamato's matchups : 1- ex Luffy : if he uses his skill 2 against you, he is dead. 2- akainu : his invincibility is done with one normal attack, so he wont be able to break your Shield fast enough. 3- king : two normals and his capture trait is done, he one shots himself attacking you with one skill, and is an easy target with the other.
You know you played a game like opbr for ages when the character who was meta at the time and was in the game is literally never seen again when I joined the game every single game it was hybrid yamoto since then i don’t remember the last time I’ve seen one
yamato loses to zephyr and shanks. red runner yamato is good, as she has dmg reduction against attackers and nullifies frostbite. doffy loses also. but yeah, yamato is probably no1 attacker in the game anyways. only loses to shanks and zephyr hard, where shanks and z get battered by bm, zoro, king, etc
Zephyr is best counter to hybrid yamato 1-Zephyr has plus things to power users 2- Zephyr with element he is strong against 3- when he upgraded, nullify status effect by the enemy
Zoro is debatable... because he doesn't resist effects, I thought it would be easier for Yamato to win. But Roger? Roger would get hit by 3 people or more.

Yamato is only really the advantageous fighter when her shield is up cuz if u attack her massive percentage damage will be dealt to the enemy however her shield can be easily destroyed especially in group battles so how the characters would be rated is thru their status nullification and damage output for example ex kaido has type advantage and invincibility skill to remove her shield w out getting frostbite, then u have Roger skill 2 charge ignores status nullification will easily destroy her shield then gets absolutely demolished since type advantage and atk stack. Yamato is a very strong character offensively however defensively u have to be cautious as she doesn’t have heals and only recovers her shield from skill 2 which she heavily relies on. Everyone in the video is stronger than Yamato except big mom ulti and akainu even tho those three have a good chance against her.

Her shield is 3 times more powerful than normal, and she can recover using Skill 2, which also makes her invincible. Your normal attack, shield and Ability will take effect and drain your life quickly. In 1vs1, she is insanely strong and superior to everyone else - except for Shanks, Zephyr, and maybe Cracker and Doffy.
