After I received my briefcase, I found out that the amount of pig skin lining is not the same with your briefcase. It has less pig skin lining now. A little bit disappointed by the change. But still a good briefcase. Just wish they didn't make sure design change.

I saw this detailed UA-cam Review by you so I wanted to write the difference between your 2017 to my 2019 version . I noticed a couple of differences, your 2 pockets on the inside divider are pigskin, mine are leather but I like it. Here are 3 design differences I don’t understand: my outside buckled pocket does not have strap pigskin lining for strength, only the front half of the inside large compartment has a pigskin lined bottom, and the edges are not burnished at all. One thing they did definitely upgrade is that my 2019 version of the bag strap pads are actually padded inside for more comfort. You can see it and fill it, it’s got something inside it now.

I contacted the maker/ owner asking why there were changes in design and I got absolutely no response back... even if I got messages back really fast before when I was asking about the product before I bought it. Fishy huh? I mean it’s not like their product got crappy, I was just asking why there were changes. Why are they avoiding my questions...
I don't owned the winged briefcase so it is hard for me to say. The winged briefcase is a different fundamental design with a different closure system that is unique. I would say it depends on the type of design you are looking for. A cop out, i know.
They actually have Lifetime warranty as long as you own it! Just bought the Tobacco one from Marlondo!
Marlondo vs Saddleback. The "upgrades" and veg tan made for an easy decision to go with Marlondo.
the side pockets sealed the deal for me.
NOT all the time we want to open the bags, so these quick access pockets are really useful
the small detailing makes this Marlondo a better bag than Saddleback design.
I agree, if Marlondo came out before saddleback they would be the company to beat.

Veg tan is usually stiffer than chrome tan. Does it take long for this bag to loosen and soften up?

In your opinion, what are the differences / benefits of getting this bag in the Veg Tan vs Water Buffalo?
Veg tan is a much stiffer leather and in my opinion ages better.

@@thomash.4501that depends on the country i guess. I had to pay 23% VAT if memory serves me correctly, and the shipping was easily 50-100USD.
