Belongs in a Final Fantasy with that white suit and anime hair.
I am a regular customer for Kayama-san at both this and his smaller (technically larger) sister bar B&F right downstairs (2F).
This man is one of my best friends here and he is such a wonderful bartender and a great source of inspiration. He has his own farm and raises his own ingredients as well. I've never had a 'bad' drink at his bar. I've said "surprise me" on many occasions and it has always done that in spades.
This man is a true artist =) I like how he turns the making of a drink into a show itself. would love to get over to Japan someday and buy a drink made by Kyama-san
Wonderful! Always glad to see someone whose passion and creativity resonates with people, and Kayama-san is one of the best! Even if it's not practical, lol.

If I will go to Japan someday I will bring lambanog, tuba and herbs endemic in the Philippines to see what concoctions he can make out of them.
Initially I thought "who so many herbs?". Then he explained that absinthe was the first inspirasion. Well makes sense.
Oh my god .. Hiroyuki Kayama's is a truly pioneer... Would someone be so kind as to tell me where I can find the recipe to prepare this cocktail at home? I can't find information on the internet
I think he may have made this one up on the spot, or at least the name. Carefully follow the video and you could probably figure it out. Pretty sure they showed all the ingredients.
