    Really enjoying this series of videos. Thanks for posting. Great sound !

      Glad you like them! I was actually having some audio issues in this one, I think was a bit lackadaisical with the mic cable routing that caused some popping and it even came unplugged at one point. I'll be remedying that!

    Watching you ride on those slow countryside roads makes me fancy taking my bike for a spin too - thanks. :)
    Thank you also for pointing out anything of interest, including reading aloud the signs you encounter.
    You see, on my apple tablet I don't get any detail. For example, all road surfaces looked beautifully smooth to me, ie I could see neither corrugation nor gravel anywhere.
    Finally, I noticed a lotta lawn in residential regions. Not so much Moomaw but Mowmore ! :)

    Probably my favorite episode of yours yet.
    Great variety of roads & scenery, good commentary, and a supernatural vibe.
    Nice to see Mr. Jobu again.
    You’re inspiring me to get out & do some moto-camping.
    I have three excellent bikes that would do this kind of riding: small, medium, & large.
    Your Continental GT is looking and sounding great!

    Enjoyed the ride on the GT Adventure bike. At 71, now I'll be planning an overnight tent camping Adventure on my GT. 👍👍

      This was actually a very pleasant experience, I had 2 roads that I wanted to film and just started plotting an "off the beaten path" route to connect them... and it turned out to be the most enjoyable portion of the entire trip.
      I'll definitely be doing this sort of thing again.

    I see there are some warm and hot springs in that area. But people wouldn't be filling drinking water containers from a warm spring would they 🤔

    • @UncleVoodoo
      @UncleVoodoo  3 місяці тому +3

      The hot springs are located to the east of this spot, kind of on the other side of this mountain sub range, I stop by one in the next "Best Rides" installment.

    I live in East Texas. This time of year you can’t go motorcycle camping, it’s just to hot. You end up laying in a pool of sweat all night.

    I wonder what all those pipes on the spring box originally did? Still cooling??? Maybe to houses before the state took over the land?

    If I see gravel or dirt on my Road King, I turn around and go the other way. I hit deep sugar sand one time, handlebars went full lock and down I went because it’s so heavy. 850 lbs.

    Great video. Thanks from Holland. Watched your first video 7 months ago. We share a lot of the history on bikes. After 40 years riding and now owning a little classic 350, i am still drawn to the gt650 in the same colour you have. I have one question: how is the weight on the wrist after riding a long time?
    Again, thank you so much for these beautifull views in your country. Berry

    • @UncleVoodoo
      @UncleVoodoo  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for watching! I'm actually wanting to add a Classic 350 to my stable, Classic & GT = cool combo.
      I don't experience wrist pain from normal riding on the GT, the only time I do is when I'm descending a long and steep mountain road when my riding position is pushed even further forward.
      The only real problem I encounter is my crotch going numb after about 30-45 minutes, causing me to stand on the pegs for a bit to get blood circulating down there again. The touring seat didn't help this issue so I just deal with as I cant afford to be trying every seat on the market.
      I'm coming up on it's one year anniversary so I'l be doing a video soon as to my thoughts on it after a year and 5000mi.

      I’m just apathetic about it these days, it’s pretty amazing how they bought a franchise with a built in fan base.. and told the fans to f off while they drove it off a cliff.

    Hey Voodoo. :D I am wondering with cam you have and if your mike is connected directly to it? I plan to do this kind of videos in Denmark.

    • @UncleVoodoo
      @UncleVoodoo  3 місяці тому +2

      I’m running a GoPro hero 9 with the media mod so I can plug the mic straight into it. I also have to run power from a battery bank in my backpack as the camera overheats if I use the GoPro batteries.
