I camped in Peralta Canyon for 5 months in 2000. On Peralta's land claim area, there are 4 holes like mines dug into bands of clay of different colors. Signs of wagons to a grizzly/sifting bin. Signs on cactus! Other digging areas around. And then a Squatter with a backhoe started digging around the area!
Back in the day we use to call that the fallen cross mine. Just off to the right about 50 yard was a flat rhyolite slab laying on the ground that we pried and jacked on for about a day an a half Just because some old timer once told us that an old cowboy friend of his hid a saddle bag and covered it with that slab. Turns out the old timer was telling the truth and we recovered it and it's contents. Nice to see that area once again, brought back memories from a time gone by. Thanks for the adventure.
Larry Hedrick on an exciting journey as we venture into an uncharted mine nestled within the mysterious Superstition Mountains. This hidden gem bears striking resemblance to the legendary lost Dutchman mine, offering a tantalizing glimpse into a chapter of history shrouded in mystery and intrigue.
I know where a mineshaft is just south east of the the old store and it has water coming out of it with old timbers and another one on top of rogers trough that g I es straight down in
the mines arent where the gold is. well not all of it. my buddy found 19 pounds and i can attest to him finding it. and it wasnt anywhere near the mountain. was burried under a mound. but hey good luck. there is still more im told =]
This is what would happen if you ever find the duchmens mine they would be like fbi show up to the entrance and blow up the hill and say they didn’t find anything 😂at least they didn’t in Virginia😂
Cool stories & adventures. Thank you...
Great maybe one day we find something

Keep hearing about the Peralta ranch in Mexico. Where was this ranch located to a modern city or town?
Great video as always, and thanks .
Thanks guys!
Thank you too!
Instead of investing in all that dynamite, those tunnel diggers should have invested in geology classes.

What were the contents?
@@cliffordbowman6777 Let's just say the contents made it well worth the time it took to find it.

Top notch again Larry. Thanks again
You guys are great at what you do!
Probably 1970s or 80's when you could still buy dynamite easily with just a DL.
