George scored 7 hits in the United Kingdom top 40 in 18 months July 1974-February 1976. He came back in 1984 with this song which fell to number 57. He could’ve been a few steps closer to the higher reaches of the top 40.

George was in the vanguard of the Disco era. Rock Your Baby set the world alight in summer 1974 and helped spark the disco explosion. The song was intended for his then wife Gwen McCrae who missed the recording session. George stepped in and the rest is history. He scored several chart hits in the UK through 1974-76 before his career went cold. This record returned George to the lower reaches of the chart in the early 80s.
