my bichon baby passed at 14 just 2 months ago and i love how a bichon won this year. makes me miss my baby even more cause flynn is everywhere right now. Bichons are the best.

@ireflectmydestiny2629 . Yes, I did!. She is a "beautiful nightmare " in the best possible way, i.e., "term of endearment." I love her sooooo much. She is hard work, but she is so worth it. She is 3 in May and I can see the positive growth and transition from a puppy to an adult dog every day. I wouldn't be without her. I love her so so much 💓 💗

I have been all over social media about Flynn the Bichon winner of the Westminster 2018 being a bichon Mom myself having three others that have went on to Bichon heaven😇 I love the breed the breed is a fantastic breed to own you can never go wrong with a Bichon I highly recommend whoever is looking to own a pet they are awesome they are lovable they are loyal I just a cotton ball of joy to love

nini gordashvili Sad today but most of us can't afford Flynn: he would cost $20,000 or more even if his owners would ever sell him. He's going to sore lots of puppies though.He actually could be valued at up to $100,000 !

I have a wonderful bichon, but I'm not able to keep him groomed as well as I should. Yet, his personality is adorable. I also have a rescue who is 1/2 bichon and 1/2 miniature poodle who is equally adorable. They keep me laughing and happy.

Renegade good advice!
I tried to brush my Bichon everyday just to keep her fluffy and matte free but she always ended up being shaved every time we take her to the groomers lol. I had my Bichon for 18 years (she passed away a couple days before her 19th birthday) and she was the best dog ever.
@@Dance14HipHop I’m so sorry for your loss. 18 years is a long time for a Bichon to live! I hope that mine will live that long. I know how you feel about taking them to be bathed and then having them come back shaved in some peculiar way!

I'm glad you learned to like Bichons, but I wouldn't say being an introvert was why you disliked dogs. Sure, they bark, but if you train them correctly and from the start, they won't do it mindlessly and uncontrollably. (This coming from a HUGE introvert who adores dogs and has owned several with no problems--at least from a noise standpoint :P)
@@BrandeeMack Bichons are very smart dogs. They make excellent alarm dogs. They are smart enough to differentiate between routine strangers and people who don't belong if you teach them. I've had Bichons for a long time and I've never had a smarter dog.

This is the day I met Petal my bichon frise and I adopted her she passed this year on jan 23. Recently I was able to adopt a 8 week old bichon Frise I named him Petal Boy I love you Petal and Petal Boy

All those baths hardly goof for his coat and skin - love bichons
its mostly for the shows haircut, my bichon gets the puppy trim and is groomed about every-1-2 months.

Actually, every breed was created for a specific purpose so they are not "useless". Many show dogs go home and do the job they were bred for. You can't tell people what to do with their money. Maybe if you earned some you could help the poor and needy.
@@paige902 I am disabled and have been sick since 2007. He was a gift to me after u had fun through two cancer surgeries. My 10 y/o Bichon Frise gives me joy and the fortitude to keep going every day. He keeps me busy and purposeful as I groom him, care for him and even walk him (after being nearly bed ridden for 3 years). He certainly has a purpose in my life and people that don't understand that are missing something precious in life.
