Be sure to add Cappadocia hot air balloon ride on your travel bucket list! Hope you enjoy the Turkey vlog! I booked the flight with Royal Balloon with a price of 160 Euro. Since it was winter, there was a free upgrade from Queen Flight to Queen Plus Flight which has less people in the basket (16 passengers instead of 20). Total flight time is 1 hour (60 minutes). Complimentary hotel transfer pick-up and drop-off. Light breakfast is included. Champagne celebration after the flight with Kavaklidere "Inci Damlasi". You also get a flight souvenir: Commemorative Royal Gold Medal, a Royal Baseball Cap and Tout Bag. I love your video. We are also going in November this year. Is there a certain flight that I need to book like over cat valley or over fairy chimneys? Thank you
@@jennbaltazar thank you for watching! Not a certain flight, but different companies have different take off sites so you need to ask them if they're taking off/flying thru the places you want
@@kirangupta9303 for me, these things can happen but the percent is low. It's the same as taking an airplane to travel or driving a car, knowing it can also crash. My risk tolerance is higher for my bucket list items like this. 😊 Like I've done skydiving twice too knowing, if something bad happens, I'm probably dead on landing 😅
Getting king category (8people) at Royal for Euros 190 . Hope this sounds like the original Royal rates . Sent Enquiry through their website and they replied
@@kirangupta9303 In my personal experience and I also showed in the video, our landing was very smooth. We didn't even need to crouch like initially taught to us, but that depends on so many factors. In general, doing hot air balloon always has a risk to it. That's why I was willing to spend more for Royal Balloon.
@@TravellingFoodie thank you for your reply . I was also going to book Royal balloon but if landing depends on wind etc factors then even Royal balloons can’t avoid the risk . Tricky choice , don’t want injuries . They said that if it suddenly gets windy might have to crash land on ground instead of trailor
@@kirangupta9303 yes, that can definitely happen. It's just all about hedging risks. Royal Balloon being top rated have more experienced pilots to deal with that better so it gave me more comfort personally than if I went with a random cheap company (because there's a lot there too). In the end, it depends on your level of comfort with these risks should you do hot air balloon. Not everyone does it. And seeing them all up in the air is also a magical experience. ✨

@@kirangupta9303 you'll find some news articles online of crash landings from severe weather where people died and got injured.
