Medical memes are a great way to get a laugh whether or not you are part of the medical community. I think that they are incredibly relatable as you can catch the humor even as a patient. I will say that some of the memes can be dark and if taken out of context can even seem offensive BUT we need to understand that this is medical satire. Being able to laugh at ourselves and our troubles is a healthy habit to practice.
I really enjoy reacting to these memes and I know that there are millions more out there that are as funny. Please if you enjoy this series let me know by liking, commenting, and sharing this video with your friends/family. If I see that you enjoyed it I will put out another post on my IG to send me the best doctor memes and nursing memes so that we can all share a laugh.

6:55 Bit of a Greek lesson: That staff is called a caduceus, and it's one of the symbols of Hermes, the god of theives and travellers. I don't know how it became a symbol of medicine, because the god of medicine is actually Apollo, not Hermes. The caduceus came to be because that staff was a normal staff of wood and ribbon, commenly used as something to herd sheep. As a reward for something (I don't remember), Hermes was given one of these staffs, but instead of ribbon, there were live snakes. The caduceus had the power to put people to sleep aswell. This sleep power was used in the story of Io. Io was a woman, and Zeus tried to force himself on her. So Hera wouldn't find out, Zeus turned Io into a cow. Hera still suspected something, so she took the cow to be watched by Argus, a man with hundreds of eyes all over his body. He never slept, so all his eyes were watching, all directions. Hermes was sent by Zeus to rescue Io. Hermes disguised into a normal human shepard, and used his caduceus to put him to sleep. He then killed Argus and rescued Io the cow. Hera did eventually find out and turned Io into a cow permanently. Sooooo yeah. His caduceus was used in other stories aswell, but Io's is the most well known. The staff for medicine is the staff of aclephius (i can spell it) and hes apollos son and brought people back to life so he was banished cause that ruins the circle of life
The staff Mike talks about with one snake comes from the Bible when Moses healed the Israelites from a massive disease by letting one of the snakes transmitting disease crawl up onto a staff and all who saw the staff where healed

When I took the Bar exam, there is a multiple choice section which is awful. They put 17 questions in a row that were C.
They split that portion in two. So during break EVERYONE was freaking out until we all realized we were putting C a lot in one section haha.

Yeah some guys at the top of a ski slope took a shot every time someone fell while getting off the chair lift. Then people started to fall on purpose.
I'm a nurse and I once got jump-scared by a patient farting really loudly. I yelped and she just looked at me with a stone cold expression like she didn't realize what happened while I tried not to laugh. After a few seconds she asked me if I could help her take a shower and I lost it. I felt bad for her but it was honestly one of the funniest things I've experienced on the job. This doesn't have anything to do with the video I just thought I'd share it.

Y'know, it's genuinely nice to see you don't have to be a bad person to enjoy dark humor. It's heartwarming in a way to just see some wholesome dude like this laughing at really messed up jokes. It's like a little reminder I'm not crazy for finding this stuff funny.
