    I have aphantasia,I don’t have trouble sleeping but my watch tells me what phases of sleep I go through during the night and it tells me I have no REM sleep, I do no know if it is true but should I be worried, it does not affect my day to day life.

      In non-rem I think. When you are in deep sleep I think you get way more tired when you wake up than in non-rem I think.

    I lost my natural ability to get stage 1 sleep because of shift work. Stage 1 sleep for me is ALWAYS disrupted by sleep starts including exploding head syndrome. That didn't happen before the Shift work I did. I no longer do shift work but still can't achieve Stage 1 sleep. Any San Francisco based doctors you can reccomend or sleep medicine I can talk to my Doctor about?

    Its maintain by the rhydm of heart and nervous system in which insomnia is maitain by physical process pranayam and in
    emergency uses som medicins like as tranquilizers eg prochloreperazine haloperidol trifluperazine etc

      Narcolepsy is a condition where REM cycles get messed up and you dream during naps

    I go into rem right away, sleep about three hours a day so I get a lot done I write little operas in spanish. Plus I dont get colds since 2012, I'm the genetic frontier, dont even consider myself caucasian, but an anomaly
