A temporary solution is to use Google Chrome and change the date of your PC to 11/01/2021. Then log back into SARS eFiling and follow my steps. This is the only solution I've seen that actually works.

Just select SARS correspondence on your efiling account and select search correspondence, select the date which you want to search from until the present day...All correspondence that has been sent to you including the TCS pin will be reflected... You click to view and download it yourself

The phone number they give is for local use only and e mailing sars produces only an acknowledgement and Case No. But nothing else. Is there not a reliable way of contacting them? In the interim my Annuity payments are frozen despite the double taxation agreement and that my annual figure would in any case be below the threshold for tax in SA. Perhaps as I do not pay tax in SA and would not under any circumstances I am of no consequence!
@@brianbelcher2903 The only reliable way to come in contact with SARS directly is via someone in SA that can phone them on your behalf or make an appointment and then attend the appointment on your behalf.
@@AndreBothmaTax That will present some problem as I left SA 30 years ago and my ex friends and colleagues are either dead or living somewhere else! SARS do not make it easy for non residents!

You must use Google Chrome and click on "Run This Time" when the notification pops up. Also, for this to work, you'll also need to backdate the time on your PC to 11/01/2021 to get Flash Player to work.
Hi Andre, I am trying to deregister a company and every time I submit the tax compliance status, CIPC keeps reponding that I need to attach a tax clearance and submit the whole application. And that the tax clearance certificate or any other written confirmation from SARS that the company has no tax liability was not attached to the application. Any idea how to get this certificate or confrimation from SARS?

Just one question: I have recently created an organization profile on e-filing, and I have registered all the tax types in it. when I check the pending registration on the left-pane I find that my registration is still not processed and it has been 7 days now. If I may ask how long does it takes for SARS to approve such a registration?
Check on the Pending Registration menu whether SARS is maybe waiting for supporting documents. Also double check if IT Admin penalty has also been ticked for registration as a tax type.

I'm not sure. The Tax Clearance Certificate applies to South African taxpayers (companies / trusts / individuals)

No keep them separate, company must remain as company with its own tax number, and you keep yours separate both must comply

As far as I know, only people who are registered eFiling users can view the tax compliance status of other taxpayers by using the TCSpin

You need to register for SARS eFiling, create the company on eFiling and then follow the Tax Clearance process.
