We can't make it through the Walmart self-checkout line without dropping $100! You're making making me want to retire early... great video again, thank you!!!
Wow, $40 for all of that food and product is a great deal. I live alone and can easily spend $150 per week for groceries here in California. For one person (and my dog). He he..... Useful information....
Hey Ginno, it would be helpful if you could do a video about what are the challenges for an American or a Fil-Am in adjusting to life in the Philippines. I know there must be people like me who watch your channel because we have an interest in visiting - or living - in the Philippines. Since you lived in both the PH and the US, you can give us some good. insights on this....

@@dazeltv1351 Nice, I'll check it. out...... I am considering retiring in the Philippines. I want to live a life like Ginno. But in order to do so, I must find my own Dazel......
Pancakes are easy to make, only flour, salt, sugar, water, about half the cost, you are buying very expensive, and not healthy. Just trying to help. Cheers Kiwi
Beer, now we're talking but I'm a little bummed that it cost that much, that's how much it cost at the bars. I'm sure it's cheaper if you buy a six pack or a case. Shoot a bottle of Tanduay is less than 2 bucks according PI vloggers. I heard it's probably cheaper to get beer at a sari-sari store? thanks man, salud!
Yes, Tanduay cost about $2. I like Boracay Rum (coconut flavor) myself; cost the same as Tanduay. The bottled beer at sari-sari cost less; canned beer cost more anywhere you buy it.
When you were in Boracay I noticed the prices are more expensive (which makes sense as you mentioned) as a Canadian with a weak Canadian dollar it's not so good for me compared to the USD. I was looking at the prices at the Savemore in Boracay and it wasn't much cheaper than Canadian prices for the same items. And when you were having your medium coffee from 7-11 in Boracay you said you paid 80 pesos which is $2.00 Canadian, it's $2.29 for a 7-11 medium coffee down the street from me in Vancouver. Not as cheap as I was hoping but in Aklan you said you would pay a $1 usd or $1.38 cad. For me, the food isn't much cheaper it's the rent that's the huge difference and of course the weather!
Sounds like food prices are about the same. Rent for a one-bedroom furnished apartment in Boracay right now is around $400 a month; western standard with hot water.
We eat lots of fruits and vegetables; this video is a trip to the supermarket where we don’t buy our fruits and vegetables. We buy fruits and vegetables in road side stalls and the public market; where it is cheaper.
Perfecto fruits and vegetables help me stay skinny. I enjoy your videos. I’m retiring in the Philippines in a few weeks at the age of 51. I’m so sick and tired of America

I hit Wally World today and spent $67 for about half that much. Love your videos and Dazel’s umbrella lol.

That UHT milk was my biggest food problem in the Philippines. It has a very distinctive flavor that I could never get use to.
I understand what you mean; it has a very distinct taste. So different from fresh milk in the U.S.
Some items were cheaper, some were more expensive compared to the USA.
Yes, there are items here in the Philippines that cost more than in the USA. Gasoline right now in the Philippines cost between $5-$6 a gallon.

So much sugar in Philippine products.
So true; hard to find products here that are sugar-free. Even in Filipino cooking; sugar is a common ingredient.
Incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. You should be eating healthier than that
