- Review of the Masters of the Universe Origins Lady slither Box set and Parts swapping with other MOTU Origins Snake figures using the lower Serpent tail accessory.
got ours today, wife call her "Hiss Slither" I love her. :) She is an amazing MOTU habit supporter.

Lady Slither has got to be one of the best figures in this line! I received mine about 6 days ago as well, and she looks great in hand! That interchangeable tail-piece is a game changer. The one thing I wish they had done a bit better was the slipcase. As great as that also looks, it “feels” a bit more fragile than I would have liked. For a nearly $40 figure (including tax and shipping), the cardboard slipcase packaging could have had a bit more of a thicker quality to it to ensure it doesn’t get badly damaged or dented by accident. Luckily, I didn’t have the same problems with my delivery as I did with Fang-Or, but I could see that being a problem if it got bounced around too much in transit. That’s a very minor gripe though; on the whole, this figure and packaging really are quite amazing! Great review!

I also think this has to be one of the best figures in the Origins line and certainly the the coolest as part of the Snake faction figures. That new tail tail really changes everything and will be a very important custom piece in Green, Yellow, blue and Red for so many different figures that can made up with that part. I love the art and that collector friendly box. Yeah the shipping cover is a little things and easy to rip taking it off
I heard a couple other comments say they would have prefered the mailer box most of the other exclusives come with! Overall I'm very happy with this figure and accessories. I think she should have also come with a belt for the male figures to transition on that tail to hide the gap as I showed using the 200x Rattlor belt for example.
We need some HORDE love. Wrap Trap being a great candidate. Great video as always. Also, we now have 3 green female figures in origins.
Yeah I think more Horde stuff is coming next year to Origins! Weapons Trap would be interesting! I have him in the Classics. It's strange there are 3 females in the Origins line now. first i thought i skip her, but then i decided to get her just in case that they´re going to do the snake lair set and it´s a very nice figure anyway.
Yeah it's one of Snake figures that you just have to get if you already have most of that faction and definitely with a possible Snake Layer that might be on the works for Origins down the road which might be a Mattel creations piece.

Nice!!! Love the box, looks awesome! I think the only thing I would change about this figure would be the hair. Would of looked sick with some Medusa type snakes for hair. But amazing figure. Can’t wait for mine. Hopefully I get Fang or and her in the same package. Really hope they release the teased snake men.

I also thought the same thing about a Medusa looking head for this figure. But I guess they are just going off the Original concept idea for slither. I can definitely see the rest of those concept snake figures to come in the Origins line down the road.

I finally got my Lady Slither today, 1 week after every other UA-camr. And I ordered her immediately. I'm starting to wonder if Mattel is keeping a list of UA-camrs & giving them priority when they start shipping. I guess I need to start pumping review videos out. I don't really want to do reviews because everybody else is but if it moves you to the top of the shipping list, I'm all for that!
Congrats on finnally getting your lady slither figure now. I hear what you're saying! There are a few MOTU reviews I haven't even bothered with because the bigger UA-cam channels get the figures sometimes a couple weeks ahead of the Mattel Creations sales. I have been also accused of getting free stuff from Mattel to have Certain figures early for review. Mattel has never gave me anything for free and I don't even know if they ever watched any of my reviews or even know about my channel! I never tried to contact them or even look into getting free figures for reviews. I noticed a couple channels no bigger than mine as far as subscribers or review performace goes gets some Exclusive figures as well ahead of the sales. I usually find my figures overseas and import them from eBay or certain sites that get MOTU early sometimes and I pay the Mark up. That's how I try to stay ahead and be unique with reviews if I can. That's my idology of Growing on UA-cam as a reviewer or an investment. But in the end that's just the way I do things. There's a lot of people doing the same thing on youtube. Just try to have fun, be honest and Unique if you can. I could grow more by contacting Mattel, Live streams and Hangouts. I have had invitations to some of that stuff, but I didn't get involved for certain reasons. So I just do my own thing as I can! So yeah a few people already got lady slither and the last few exclusives ahead of time for reviews. I still reviewed mine anyway even know they got all the big reviews. You got to do something at least every 5 days minimum as a review channel to grow and become more popular. It took me over Two years to get where I'm at and I'm still small compared to the older channels. I can't think about that! I just do what im doing and always try to make it interesting with editing, Part swapping and getting the newest figures when I can!
@@Themanchlid Yup! Just keep doing what you're doing. I'm trying to do something completely different than everybody else but I have a major mental block about making videos. I can't explain it. I just keep putting off making new videos. I'm just never quite ready to make a video. There is always "just 1 more thing" I want to do before it's ready to go to video.
That purple cape would work well with Evil Lyn.

Yeah unfortunately the Origins vintage inspired figures are all gonna go this route with Mattel creations. It's good for some people and not for other. Especially outside the USA.
I was really surprised how fast they are shipping these. I ordered it on the 12th, and they are saying I'll get it on the 19th. That's much faster than the Fangor. Awesome video as always!!!
Yes the last couple Exclusives shipped very fast after the sale! I notice the bigger UA-cam review guys like Pixal dan gets these figures from Mattel sometimes early to show. When you see that, Then you can bet they are in stock ar Mattel creations warehouse or coming in soon. I'm glad your figure shipped already and is on the way! 12:45 That's what I was looking for. Wanted to see if reviewers addressed the balance issues. The bottom of the tail really needs weight added. There is really no point articulating the tail without more weight added to the bottom.
Thanks for stopping in as always! Yeah it takes the right position to balance that set up with the tail. I had a feeling of that issue with this figure. I had an Mcfarlane figure with a Snake tail and it also was weird to balance without adjustments.
@@Themanchlid The best thing to do is cut a hole in the bottom & stick some thick plaster in there. Or stick a couple of those metal weights you get for fishing.

Hello Manchild! Yes, very strange female proportions (plus the designer of the belt is and idi*ot)... but i have the (slowly) feeling if mattel would create a piece of cra*p in a box it would still be bought.

Hello again! Yeah the waist proportions on the Origins figures are a little weird to me. But I guess I'm comparing those to Masterverse and Classics in my head.
They should included a belt for the Male figures. People like what they like. The Origins is still trying to be as simple as it can going back to the vintage figures. @@Themanchlid The pelttrousers as a hole has the same size as the male counterpart (gender reasons??!). I don't know how stupid the designer was or which idiology he wants to represent through selective "art".
Of course that thing has to be smaller and thinner like for example in the classics line (Battleground Teela which i have here).
The Vintage Line would do exactly the same, when a good designer would have created it.
Then only reproduce the box if you like the art so much - really?!

Does the Lady Slither waist piece fit over Origins Rattlor's legs without his belt? Coz that would give Lady Slither a bunch of new creepy snake leg options apart from the svelte green ones she comes with.
Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! Yes I just tried the Lady Slither armor waist piece on Rattlors lower legs with his belt removed. It fits perfect and looks cool. I also tried it with belt on. It gets in the way because of Snake buckle. Those would be creepy options👍
Could you use the belt piece from snake armor he man instead of customizing one?
Yes you it looks like that could also work. It dose have gaps between those strap pieces that hang. But it's better than nothing and definitely hides those two ends put together. Thanks for watching and sharing that suggestion!👍

If Snake Lair wins the vote then will Mattel include Lady Slither with that playset? 🤔
I have a feeling not! If the Snake lair wins the vote, Then I think it will be a 30 day crowed fund vote like the Eternia playset with a minimum amount of backers for the project. If that's the case then Mattel will set different level with extras if the backers numbers goes past the minimum number they ask to fully fund the project. Eternia went close to double thier minimum number. The Two extras in that playset is King Greyskull for certain people who funded the progect early. And the other Extra is The Moat Monster for example. So its possible to get other figures and accessories included in the Snake lair if it's funded and how it funded as I mentioned. If it's gonna be a fan vote and produced for retail like Snake Mountain. Then I also dout it's gonna get Lady slither as well because Snake Mountain didn't come with a figure. @@Themanchlid It’s a difficult one because anyone who couldn’t get a Lady Slither might be put off buying the playset now. But as you say the numbers might still be enough that it doesn’t matter. I’m in UK so couldn’t afford Snake Lair anyways although I did buy the figure. 😅

I'm assuming most people who voted for that Playset also went on Mattel Creations and picked a Lady Slither as well as most of the Snakemen already for the Origins. I think a Snake lair would be cool. But I voted for new Fright zone and That Attack track from filmation before the Snake lair. I would like to see all those sets a reality! I'm also guessing anyone who didn't get a Slither and is willing to fund that Snake Lair if it become a crowd fund item which will be pricy like most of those fund projects, will just go on ebay and pick up a Lady Slither for a higher cost.
Good review but glad i skipped this one, its not for me, i just want: TwoBad, RioBlast, Modulok, Multibot, Saurod, the Laser Lights, The Titans ... all the figs Mattel keep ignoring in favour of Snake people.

Thanks for stopping in to check out the review! Yes I understand certain figures being hit or Miss for some people when it comes to the Origins. Someone at Mattel or the Team who works on the concepts and designs for the Origins is really pushing the Snakemen faction. They are very popular and there were sp many other concepts like Lady Slither and Fangor for example that never made it to the Vintage or Classics lines. So now it makes sense to use them in the Origins and keep the figures somewhat simple instead of pushing them in the Masterverse line which would be more complex and expensive to manufacturer then Origins figures. But I do hope the Masterverse line gets involved with the Snakemen faction down the road!
However Mattel did say they plan on finishing up all the Vintage inspired figures and some other playsets and Vehicles for the Origins line. We will see figures like Two Bad, Modulok, Rioblast Multibot and any figure that was in the Vintage MOTU line in the USA during the 80s come to Origins sometime next year. However all the Vintage figures and vehicles going forward will all be Mattel Creations exclusives according to Mattel going forward.

They look different then I would think bracers are supposed to look. They are part of sculpt and I'm guessing that's the design They wanted for her.
