- Why am I being tested? Is this a punishment or a test? When is this going to end? Why does this keep happening to me? These are common questions today.
In this short lecture, I've tried to put things into perspective.

Dont wait for depression
First i was introduced with menk when my son was in coma... He's dead now.. His first birthday is coming and i'm loosing my patience.. Practising patience is sooooo hard for me.. But,its mufti menk who made me muslim and by loosing my only baby, i gained islam.. Alhamdulillah.. 😌😔

And prophet Muhammad said!! If you loose a child then don't loose hope because on the day of judgement he/she will ask Allah to forgive his/her parents because they passed through hard times when I left them!!

I know its hard but your child was spared from the hardships of the life and was granted jannah without any test and trials that we all have to go thru b4 we die... It is such an honor if yu really think about is.. The struggles of life will sway us and make us commit sins... But yur child was saved from this all and in'shaa'allah he will pray to Allah to grant yu jannah as well on the day of judgement.... This is hard for a parent, but its the best thing you child cud have received and that is eternal jannah wich should be all of ours goal but we forget about it in lifes struggles... May Allah give you ease and patience to cope with this hardship and grant yu with more kids in'shaa'allah
May Allah make it easy on you and give you strength 🙏🏾

I have lost my son two months ago who was 7.9 yrs..it is indeed difficult for me to live this life and hence I m hearing these speeches to comfort my heart
May Allah give you sabar and rewards you in a beautiful way.
May Allah swt make it easy for you at this difficult time. He will comfort you and give you ease. These things do take time but you will pull through with Allah help. He is taking care of you. You are stronger than you think ♡♡

I lost my only son 28 years old, he drowned in a river in front of all my family, my 2 daughters and my wife had so hard time, but when I listen to you, I say Alhamdulilah, I am submitted to Allah's well.

I am sorry to hear that. May Allah make every difficulty easy for you. One thing that helps me sometimes is learning about Allah’s names. It brings comfort to my heart when I have too many negative thoughts. Also praying and making dua. I also go to therapy which can help a lot. I hope this helps you in any way ❤️
Hopeless but not helpless. Depression keeps generating negative thoughts . .any times they're true , but try to put a positive spin on them and ask Allah for help with faith . A depressing thought is not a command - try to ignore them with distraction, good food, exercise or whatever.

If Allah can turn night into day, then he can turn your problem into a blessing.
Little advise to those who have lost faith in Allah or Islam
1: realize your mistakes
2: repent - again and again and again. Why? Everytime you'll repent. You will feel better, try it and see the magic
3: Learn to forgive. Forgive everyone
4: Start praying. Praying is almost like a medicine to keep to humble, stress free, blesses you with fortunes
5: learn to appreciate (family, house, job, water, food, ability to have all senses, community and neighbors) we take so much for granted.
6: give food to homeless. Give some form of charity in your neighborhood and aborad those who are in need
7: Ask Allah for guidance to the riotous path
I am a muslim but i lost faith once. Every time i prayed things went the opposite. I started business. Invested over half a million dollars and it was not a success. I tried marketing, yes even the Kardashian's "Food God." Worked 40+ hours to expand the business but it failed. Dad was and is practicing muslim and he explained to try praying again. I started and sales went up. Wallahi, so much so i couldn't handle customers. I stopped again and business started to slow down.
Few months later, i decided to sell the business. Anyone who came to buy either walked away or gave 1/3 of the value of the business. I was physically and emotionally drained. I continued praying and had patience. Two months later, not only I got the buyer but got the money, more money than the value of my business at that present state.
Lesson: Allah always have your back, its the tests and trials everyone must go through and those with patience will always succeed.
I hope it'll help and may Allah guide us all to the riotous path. Ameen

I wasn't raised in Islam , I found it in the lowest time of my life , I reached out to Allah and asked him to give me strength to get through it . He gave me the strenth and if it wasn't for Allah I wouldn't have . I am currently homeless , living in a van . I strayed somewhat but I prayed and prayed and again I found strenth and again Allah was there . I don't have much right now , but I am so grateful for what I DO have and I thank Allah for all of it . And I know he will help me get back just like he did before . Staying humble is so important , and thanking Allah !!

Each day passes and my strength to keep going in this life decreases. I know this life Allah granted me is a test but sometimes I feel that I am too weak for my challenges in this life.

Islam is indeed beyond doubt truth .May Allah guide u to accept it for your own benefit.Research Quran as soon as possible InshaAllah u will be convinced.The prophets in the Quran r role models.Read surah Maryam ....its about Mary the mother of Christ peace be upon him or u can hear translation of "Surah Maryam " in English .Do read about Jesus, Moses n other Prophet peace be upon them too.After that you will yourself read the entire Quran God willing....its indeed best for one's guidance.

I am not a Muslim - or even religiously observant to any degree - but I often listen to your lectures, Mufti, read the Qur’an, the Torah and Bible, study the history, etc. I must say that I like the messages that you convey, especially in this lecture. It is a very powerful idea to consider that events in our lives are, somehow, parts of a much larger picture.

Alamdulillah! coz He gave us Mufti Menk educating us and translating Quran for us. for this we are able to fully understand the message given to our dear prophet {SAW}. I am in the mids of one of the biggest test in my life and now i know all i have to say is Alhamdulillah.
