I worked for the Takoma Records co-founder, the late ED Denson, and didn't know for some time that he was connected with a guitar player I enjoyed hearing. Sometimes the world has ways of bringing us together. Never saw that coming...

Im not religious but spiritual..I love this guy, his music, and a lot of his words..but the man was a bit confused about religion vs spirituality and did never understood, even knew, that all biblical stuff is esoteric, concern the inner human body, and talks about the non duality of Reality...aa very true doctrine that you can only experiment by yourself and that is hidden in every religion or culture...the man has a lot of diseases and died poor and mostlly alone....if He would have let alone his fight against church and try to build inside him real foundations, the man would have raised his vital energy and would still be with us..I experimented that for 4 years now;;Im a scientist and very rationnal..I wasn't born in religion or so, never go to church or mosque etc...but spirituality has his own very truth that are esoteric, means in side us, not outside, it's a consciousness level..you understand only what you see and see only what you understand but it can expands....a very lot! A part from this, I love this genius!!!!
its clear from his music that the man knew about spirituality. he was also sexually abused by his father which isn't an easy thing to heal from. if youre such a 'spiritual scientist' you might want to have a clue before you start speaking about things you know nothing about
Fahey is, was, and always will be the epitome of a guitarist.
Love his take about the class struggles inherent to blues and society in general, many thanks for this gem !
Also, his words about capitalism, mainstream, inequalities etc..are so relevant today
This man is brilliant. Not to mention a phenomenal guitar player...
This is amazing. Many thanks for posting this gem.
Love this!
LEGEND

For a scientist you sure have some muddled thinking.

john fahey is as spiritual as it gets
I enjoyed your comment. There are important takeaways from religion that people tend to ignore if they aren't religious or even if they are
@@cjsligojones5101 care to elaborate? nothing muddled in his comment.
