    It's wonderful to hear John explaining how he approached his finger picking technique. He obviously gave more thought than some others did. And you can hear it in his playing. A studious player indeed.

    John.... 1970. I was 17. That year, "On Doing an Evil Deed" Blues. My first or second attempt at finger style. Second effort: "Hesitation Blues" by Hot Tuna. I still play both. Thanks for the sound of John's voice. Pssst!... we're all one of a kind. Wonderful post, Thanks!

      His childhood was a captive hell.
      At the age of 12, he composed 'On The Sunny Side Of The Ocean'
      His young life as a victim of sexual child abuse by his father describes the context of this composition.
