Most definitely.. a great song with a meaning that most people wouldn't understand just the ones that truly have been in that placee will truly relate.. ❤🙏
+TheBanderson22 saw them last night play this, and the bass player plays lead guitar for this song and he is the one who wrote this. the guitarist played bass.
My ex-girlfriend left me 2 months ago. I just got word this morning that my grandfather (who I was very close with) passed away. This song gives me hope that things will eventually get better. I know that bravery will find me and that my fear will go. Thanks ABR for creating such a masterpiece.
this song makes me cry every time. such a beautiful masterpiece. thank you so much August Burns Red for everything you've done for me through your music.
I feel you. This album was my introduction to ABR last summer. changed my life for the better and helped me refocus on God during some of the worst times of my life thus far.
+thevoiceoftruth55 chill out, I loved it too and I listen to Whitechapel, Parkway Drive, The Devil Wears Prada, etc. This person definitely doesn't need to find a new genre, you just need anger management maybe?
Devon Brooks My comment was quite chill. And he should look into other genres, that may be more in that style, maybe some of those not metal styles of music, like the interlude in this song.
Oh okay, I'm sorry for reading your comment in the wrong context. He could look into other genres if he likes those softer areas of the songs, but still have his main genre in metalcore.
I loved all of your albums so much but I can definitely say that this is by far the best album. It's so rare seeing a band that progressively get better with the years like you guys. Incredible musicians.
One of their best songs hands down. The solo and guitar are just so melodic that words can't explain how awesome they sound. And his screaming is just so smooth an less raspy. Its just awesome and makes this album my favorite by them.
that middle section is so beautifully written. this album brings me more excitement for anything that ABR releases in the future. August Burns Red for life, man!
I've been listening since 2007 when Messengers hit and to this day they continue to blow my mind and bring a slight tear to my eyes due to the meaningful words and the beauty in which they're presented.
Criminally underrated ABR song. It has it all, heaviness, deep lyrics, shredding, a contemporary bridge, melodic sections and harmonizing guitar. This song is a perfect representation of ABR’s modern style
Agreed, and it doesn't surprise me at all! The best songs on this album are the most underrated ones, whereas the weakest (Martyr, Ghosts) are the ones everyone faps over lol
GeoOoo7 it's underrated because it's not excessively chuggy and full of breakdowns, and that's what the average abr fan likes lol. which is why messengers is still probably their most popular album among fans, even though it's by FAR their worst
David Marsh messengers is on the same level as this album. With the exception being this song as it's the best they've written (broken promises is insanely good too)
I LOVE how experimental this band is! They're not afraid to pull it back and give some beautiful pieces, rather than just keep powering through every single song. I always hear how Messengers is their best and how everything after has just declined, but honestly I think Messengers is overrated and not as heavy as people think. Just because they don't keep the heaviness throughout every song on every album doesn't mean that it's gone, it just shows that they want the heaviness to be more distinct and to pack more punch when it returns.
+Jordan Whitlow Great way to put it! I never thought about it like that. I love their more recent stuff more than Messengers and Constellations. It's really neat to listen to each album and see just how much the band's writing styles have progressed. For instance, I feel like in Constellations, Jake was going for a more heavier sound with his voice. But now, i can feel the passion and the emotion he pours into his vocals instead of just trying to sound brutal.
Yeah man I agree 100 percent.. I have seen them live couple times met the band... These are really good dudes who love what they do. You can definitely see it the music they write... If I make it to 90, you better believe I will still be listening to there music...
My favorite song was Martyrs, but this snuck up on me, and is now my favorite. It's basically all of ABR in one song. Melodic/Heavy/Groovy/Gang Vocals/Breakdown/Solo/. It's the best song on this album, and it's not even close, lol. If you want someone to love ABR, this is what you have them listen to.
I think this band single-handedly showed me just how mediocre and crappy the metalcore bands I used to listen to are. Sure, I still like some metalcore bands, but I've definitely moved on from liking just metal and metalcore to liking goohd music in general, whether it be jazz, metal, electronic, or classical. Thank you so much August Burns Red!
Sirjustin101 well .. metalcore is dying ... I used to find a LOT of excellent songs on a weekly basis 3-4years ago .. now I get a handful of songs every couple of months .. sad
Banjo sry .. for me it is dying. I know it is a matter of taste and it is subjective, no hate, just sad I do not get to listen to a lot of things I love anymore
Abr has to be hands down one of the best melodic yet brutal metalcore bands out there been listening since the beginning and wow on every album... They change but... just enough to not loose there sound... I will always be a fan of a band that stays true to what they do
There are so many great bands to be honest Lord. I love it when the lyrics resonate with me aw and that sounds amazing, painting a blank canvas with beautifully meaningful words haha.
They've really been experimenting with different sounds over the last few albums and its doing them a mountain of favors. This new album is fantastic and unique.
Will Harper I guess I wasn't used to all the slow break downs inthat album. I'm used to them and love them now, so I'll probably re-listen to the album
StevieJay Fair enough. I think you should definitely give Rescue and Restore another shot. So many amazing songs on that album. But even if you don't like it, it's no big deal. I'm personally not a huge fan of Thrill Seeker, simply because of the way it was recorded. Everything sounds muted in a way. Know what I'm saying?
Ya I definitely will, and I think my fave song off my album is Sincerity, SO GOOD. Ya I'll definitely re-listen man. True. I listened to Thrill Seeker, I didn't really mind it
StevieJay My favorite song off of Rescue and Restore is by far Echoes. Such an amazing track. Everlasting Ending is probably my favorite off of the new record.
god damnit, that chorus/ outro is the most fucking melodic thing in existence! it's fucking incredible! this is probably abrs most complete song they've ever written. holy shit. how is this ensemble so godlike?
I'm probably not as big of a fan as most of you guys are of ABR but this song is fucking amazing. I've literally been listening to nothing but this for 2 days now. My new favorite song
The lyrics in this song are in reference to Matthew 6:33. Matt Greiner wrote "6:33" on each of the ABR posters that the VIPs got during their frozen flame tour. The words in that verse have a lot in common with the lyrics in this song.
Amazing lyrics. It's like a Psalm. It's like a prayer of Christ to the Father on the cross: "don't let me down..." Moreover when demons attack you you really feels like you "can't get the words out..." But then comes the release: "rest comes to the weary..."
I feel like Leveler is very underrated. There are some very good songs on their that are better than many other songs that abr has written. Songs like Pangea and Divisions are highly underrated
The solo here is in in F# Major while the outro solo in Selkies is in A Major. Pitch shift this song up by three semitones and you'll notice that the first sweeps in this solod sounded like the sweeps from Selkies. Mindblown enough? :)
Easily one of the best ABR songs ever...
Truly
Most definitely.. a great song with a meaning that most people wouldn't understand just the ones that truly have been in that placee will truly relate.. ❤🙏
This may be the best song they have ever written
Josiah Harmon Definitely up there with Marianas Trench :D
+StrobeFireStudios MT and Beauty in Tragedy for sure.
THANK YOU BRO, RIGHT?! The fucking bridge/ outro riff is...God
+Josiah Harmon i listened to this song at least twice a day for the last month or two lol amazing uplifting riffs

Dustin Roe yea bro love august burns red there music is beautiful better then this shit ass rap
I feel you. This album was my introduction to ABR last summer. changed my life for the better and helped me refocus on God during some of the worst times of my life thus far.
Bravery will find you
When your head is hung low.
Your fear, it's like a fever.
It too will go.
Goosebumps every time
Me too. It’s nice when a band within this genre actually has something to say.
The goosebumps never go away on that part

This song has so many melodies shooting at you from all directions; it's invigorating, soothing, and breathtaking.
That slow section is the best thing that has ever entered my ears.
ThePickle4u you should look into some other genres then.
+thevoiceoftruth55 chill out, I loved it too and I listen to Whitechapel, Parkway Drive, The Devil Wears Prada, etc. This person definitely doesn't need to find a new genre, you just need anger management maybe?

ThePickle4u omg same here dude...
I loved all of your albums so much but I can definitely say that this is by far the best album. It's so rare seeing a band that progressively get better with the years like you guys.
Incredible musicians.
yes
Incredible musicians, This I can stand by
One of their best songs hands down.
Dustin is genius dude, this is the best song he ever written for abr. :)
I've been listening since 2007 when Messengers hit and to this day they continue to blow my mind and bring a slight tear to my eyes due to the meaningful words and the beauty in which they're presented.
04:06 i love this Riff so much
Greatest thing about this band... There songs never end the same way they start.. it's a journey every song..
4:00-5:11 I WISH this ending was everlasting. It sounds sooooo damn good. Paul Waggoner plays such beautiful/clean harmonies..
Criminally underrated ABR song. It has it all, heaviness, deep lyrics, shredding, a contemporary bridge, melodic sections and harmonizing guitar.
This song is a perfect representation of ABR’s modern style
Hearing Paul Waggoner on an ABR song gives me way more happiness than anyone should ever have.
Joe Pontiac Would you/anyone please tell me where exactly he is involved in this awesome track?! Can't seem to figure it out completely on my own :/
limpi05 in the solo man...i think u can distinguish it pretty well..
Armen Manoukian this song sounded so much like BTBAM, makes sense
Aaron Wheaton that whole build up to solo reminded me of Selkies. Haha
+Armen Manoukian is that confirmed / real? about Paul waggoner?
HOW IS THIS NOT ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST SONGS
It is in my mind. It's one of the first songs I tell people to check out.
This has to be one of the most underrated songs ever. It's so fucking good
Agreed, and it doesn't surprise me at all! The best songs on this album are the most underrated ones, whereas the weakest (Martyr, Ghosts) are the ones everyone faps over lol

David Marsh i think the wake is the best on this album
none is, so ur ops, kek
One of the most underrated songs ever

Just love that breakdown at the end. The melody is beautiful and the way the rhythm compliments it is so intelligent and satisfying.
From 1:44 just spinebreakingly cool tune.)
Easily one of the best songs I've ever heard. From start to finish, it is amazing.
I almost wish ABR did more cleans. The cleans on this album are unique and fit the ABR sound perfectly. They give me so much emotion and pump me up.
My favorite ABR song by far. My god it's so amazing
Can't wait to see them in February.

Anytime I go through a hard time in life, I come to this song. It's like my happy place. Love it so much.
the sun will break through.. you get what you need ... thank you ABR for staying honest with what you do
Jason Munoz amen to that brother
Great music they will always never fail to impress me.
This song rocks! The intro to the song with the guitar sounds so cool and the vocals are rad! Stoked that this album is finally out!
abr lyrics are good for the soul ❤❤❤❤
Miranda Foster I agree. ABR has become a way of life for me honestly. dont know what I'd do without them.
Exactly
Miranda Foster your ear pierce thing is ugly lmfao
Abr has to be hands down one of the best melodic yet brutal metalcore bands out there been listening since the beginning and wow on every album... They change but... just enough to not loose there sound... I will always be a fan of a band that stays true to what they do
Absolutely god dam awesome! ABR for life, hands down best track on the album.
The Best song of the album, to my mind!
I have officially become an ABR fan tbh
LOL ajgorgas I've listened to all of them already. I do love them
That's another band right ajgorgas ? I'll make sure to check them out c: thank you for the recommendation!
There are so many great bands to be honest Lord. I love it when the lyrics resonate with me aw and that sounds amazing, painting a blank canvas with beautifully meaningful words haha.
One of the best Christian metal core bands you'll ever get to listen to
michael melara and by christian metal core bands i, along with 98% of us out here, presume you mean 'bands - in general'. right?
ABR is a great band - one that is still amazing many years, many bands, and many trends later. Love ABR

This song never ends to me.
this song has helped me so much in life. this band is for me the greatest post hardcore band ever!!
This song makes me smile :)
One of my top 5 songs ever. Can listen to this all day.
Yup. Still my favorite song ever.
Best song on the album
I wish the ending would actually be everlasting for this song. So good.
Can't stop listening to this album...
They've really been experimenting with different sounds over the last few albums and its doing them a mountain of favors. This new album is fantastic and unique.
The lyrics are so fucking good, every song, the lyrics are utterly amazing. Fucking love this band.
Favorite song on the album. With Ghosts only a few paces behind it. Absolutely amazing.
MY GOD. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE MASTERPIECE. 🔥
Dustin, the bassist is playing the guitar for this song and saw him play it live too so god damn talented
Yup. He wrote this song.
ABR kills it always!! This album is on a whole other level, just like this song! I am buying this album RIGHT NOW and you should too folks
Man this album is so great so far I am proud of ABR!!!
Didn't enjoy Rescue & Restore, but this album is gold so far
May I ask what part of Rescue and Restore you didn't like? I personally loved that album.
Will Harper
I guess I wasn't used to all the slow break downs inthat album. I'm used to them and love them now, so I'll probably re-listen to the album

Not joking. I told my Best Friend I want THIS played at my funeral. I want an Everlasting Ending In Heaven.
Perfect Song Choice 🤝
I'm probably not as big of a fan as most of you guys are of ABR but this song is fucking amazing. I've literally been listening to nothing but this for 2 days now. My new favorite song
Favorite song on the album hands down
Wow ! outstanding stuff on this album , congratulations to you guys .

mejor canción del álbum.. . el solo me eriza la piel... good Job abr
Love love love this song. Great work.
Been a long time sense a songs givin me goosebumps but this one just did. So damn good so glad ABR is still doing their thing keep kicking ass dudes!
I could listen to 4:00 and onwards for the rest of my life.
THE INTRO MY GOD SO GOOD.
The lyrics in this song are in reference to Matthew 6:33. Matt Greiner wrote "6:33" on each of the ABR posters that the VIPs got during their frozen flame tour. The words in that verse have a lot in common with the lyrics in this song.
Matthew???
Irineu José Yep! 6:25-34
tMattLZ It's ... I was reading
***** haha
Best song on the album. The definition of metalcore
I was just wondering what ABR's been up to lately, and I'm not disappointed.
Awsome ABR song. Thank you.
Reminds me so much of Leveler's melodic parts!
That part at 37 seconds reminds me of a part in an animals as leaders song. So great.
Dude, CAFO
Spot ON!
Wow, these lyrics... I should expect that from these guys by now
Amazing lyrics. It's like a Psalm. It's like a prayer of Christ to the Father on the cross: "don't let me down..." Moreover when demons attack you you really feels like you "can't get the words out..." But then comes the release: "rest comes to the weary..."
Essa banda merece todo o reconhecimento do mundo.
I'm waiting for my words to say. Love you ABR ♥
I feel like Leveler is very underrated. There are some very good songs on their that are better than many other songs that abr has written. Songs like Pangea and Divisions are highly underrated
+JC Allison The song Leveler itself is fantastic as well.
that tapped riff is my favorite ABR riff ever i think.
So good!🎉
The ending lines are some of my favorite lyrics ever !
I still get chills and tear up so many years later listening to that part. It's so full of hope and encouragement.
August Burns Platinum
wow I never before in my life heard such good music that guitar foreal tho
The entire song is incredible
the sound that those flip flops make during the sweep picking section are superb
skin chills hard here!!! damn
The best solo I have ever heard.
Love it!
I feel this song so hard!
Most underrated song they have ever made !
I think this is the best shit that August burns red has put out their I like all their shit but this is the best 😊
love the instrumentals
excellent !!!
Man those sweeps at 3:18 REALLY sound like BTBAM!
TriviumAnterior That solo was done by Paul, so it is actually 1/5 BTBAM.
The solo here is in in F# Major while the outro solo in Selkies is in A Major. Pitch shift this song up by three semitones and you'll notice that the first sweeps in this solod sounded like the sweeps from Selkies. Mindblown enough? :)
Who's listening to this right now? Has never been more relevant. I'm sitting here weeping.
I love electronic musik, but metalcore is my help if i feel sick from this world. Sick from another people. Thank you :)
ill never forget how I felt so far awayyyyy
Bravery will find YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
How in the world does this masterpiece have 7 dislikes?!
because they couldn't do the sweep picking section of the song
Who could dislike this
2:22 i thought John Mayer took over for a sec 😂🔥
So awesome to hear Paul waggoner in this genre.
The solo reminded me of The Fall Of Ideals-era All that Remains
The Son will break through.
