Because most people in that range probably don't try to watch chess UA-cam. Although I was trying to watch chess UA-cam when I was 600-700 and I barely understood it so you're right, it is pretty good to have videos to teach people in that range. I think I will send this video to my mother cuz she's been at 500 for almost a whole year.
@@hearmeout1767I testify that I understood the complete vid. My chigrin; playback was 1.25 speed. That's how great Alaessia is. (I've no rating in Chess).
That's normal dont worry, I just reached 1300 elo but sometimes play as a -900 and other times as a 1700+, I even have 2 games in which I played as a 2100 according to the computer
Yeah! One game, I would feel like an artful player, and straight up fumble my rook in its starting square with the opponent's forking it with my queen/king using a horse.
You are absolutely brilliant!! Love your enthusiasm and passion for teaching while playing chess. I am looking forward to watching many more of your UA-cam videos!!!😇
I appreciate that you didn't edit out the point where you accidentally hung your bishop. I have made the same sort of error many times (too many, actually). You were focused on one move, then made the bishop move quickly, without fully exploring it first. I learned that it always pays to take a step back, look at a move before you make it, and only then decide.
I love your videos! I've been playing chess for 40 years but even your beginner videos are fun and informative. Your videos with Noel always have me laughing! Great stress relievers!
Core Opening Principles: Emphasize controlling the center of the board, developing your pieces, and avoiding early queen moves. Focus on solid openings like 1. e4 or 1. d4 and avoid dubious tactics like bringing the queen out too early or pushing pawns unnecessarily . Piece Development and Trades: Develop your knights and bishops early, and only trade pieces when it’s strategically advantageous. Prioritize having your knights and other pieces control the center, and avoid creating weaknesses such as doubled pawns unless it gives you a tactical advantage . Position Evaluation: Constantly evaluate your position and your opponent's intentions. Look for tactics like discovered checks and pins, and avoid creating vulnerabilities like isolated pawns or exposing your king to threats . Planning and Safety: Develop a plan that improves your least active pieces and always ensure your king's safety by castling early. Don’t fall into traps or overextend your pieces without a solid plan to back them up . Winning Strategy: When ahead, simplify by trading pieces and focus on maintaining your advantage. Avoid risky plays and concentrate on solidifying your position to secure a win through material advantage or checkmate opportunities .
Please keep the series going and without a doubt you will get more subs/likes then you are asking for, this is great content that I really enjoy. thank you, oh and thanks for showing the blunder, go to know that I am not the only one that gives away pieces.
Thank you for the video, I enjoy thinking along with you as you make the moves. I don't know why it's hard for me to apply the same thinking in my games
The first game, u advise against the scandinavian basically, but i feel the scandinavian can be a great opening to learn the lines of and master thats different than alot of things goin on and can give u an edge
5:21 you still had the discovery checkmate ,if you just moved your knight to d7 , i would be a incredible move 🔥🔥😬 And at 8:08 move you bishop from c4 to f7 and its a check mate in 2 move 💀🥶
Ciao Alessia!
Question: does that also count for other chess ratings? I have today for the first time 209, I was 100 last week and I just kept playing and studying chess on my own.
I suppose time is of the essence, but if you would allow a bit more time for the viewer to examine and explore your explanation before you quickly move on would help us viewer to digest your lessons. Thanks, keep up the great work 👍
I imagine playing this 500 rated player and losing and wanting to quit lol. I’m barely hanging on as is. Had to step back and put it away before I went insane lol
Necessary the way you said it sounded like you spelt it wrong however after typing I now realise it was just like a Italian pronounsiation thing that accentuated a part of it hahaha cheers for sharing I like these rules so far I have liked how it has been ideas that I do not already understand or notice fully yet or subscobsciously perhaps but not consciously so yeah cheers
This is great - you're such a good teacher. I'm in the 500 ELO range, and there aren't a lot of great teaching videos for that level.

Cmon girl now you anoyed me like i gain 400 elo from 1300 to 1700 by practice more than 20000 games wtf are you talking abouth 😂😂😂❤
It takes 20 mounths almost 2 years girl so
Sometimes i play like a 1000+ rated and sometimes like -500 and i think my account might get banned for the deference in accuracy 😂
I know that’s me too inconsistency is a problem , don’t worry I think even the best players suffer from that.

Omg. I wish I discovered your channel sooner. You're such a nice ray of sunshine 🌞
Great video!! Grazie mille!!
That last check mate was so clean
Why do i get 700 elo people who play like a 1300?...
😂
The realization on 15:53 lmao 😂
But then the opponent didn't notice 💀
In the second game, she coulda sacked the bishop giving king a check to win queen 8:44
That Connect Four joke was hilarious. You have great comedic timing.
Never change the way you say “necessary.”
At 8:37 I suppose there is an option to sacrifice the bishop and win the queen? Be6+, Kxe6, Qxd7
15:54 she blundered a piece to show us as actually a 1500 players play:-)
13:54 so many players need to hear this!
8:39 missed brilliant move bishop to e6
Took me a bit to see why it was brilliant. 😂😅
8:38 I actually started spazing out when she didn't find Be6
Why wasn’t Ng6 checkmate in the first game?
What is her real elo rating?
Love to watch you ❤️
Thank you for helping me not to hate myself so much for blundering pieces :D Even the best blunder pieces haha
AMAZING CONTENT PLEASE MAKE A SERIE THANK YOU SO MUCHHH
Wholesome video!
can you play all the possible moves in chess?
U R Really A Great Teacher❤
You are above 2000 elo and you are thinking 11:33 is a senseless sacrifice!!! How?!
I dont even play chess but idk why i love to hear her talk 😂😁
Can you please play against 1800 - 1900? I would've watch it im 1809 currently ❤❤

Thank you for the informative video ❤❤
15:56 wtf reaction epic lol
8:34 why are you even talking about trading queens when Be5 check wins the queen?
This is not a very thought out video.

20:38 i can relate 😂 my heart stops till the game ends
She is doing mate to beginners just imagine hikaru with his noob I'd come against her 💀

19:29 bishop h3 would be a check mate right?

In the last game Qh2# was a checkmate instead of big plans😂
Ahh average 500 elo genius spotted you are just so smart.

@0:25 Tell that to John Bartholomew hehe XD
So, your opponent is thinking you are at the same level - you're a liar.

Hang in there! Study tactics, end games, and a couple of easy openings. The openings don’t matter as much as opening principles do.
