OMG, I haven't enjoyed a video so thoroughly in - well, NEVER! I laughed so hard! And learned so much in the meantime. THANKS A MILLION YOU GUYS! You are quickly becoming *the* best Mexican colloquial Spanish source on the entire youtube, and as an avid student and a voracious viewer of such material, I do not say this lightly. You even suffer for your art on camera for our entertainment, wow (that was SO gacho!)! Sincerest kudos to you two, and please don't ever stop the awesomeness!
Thank you so, so much! Your support over the years (wow, time flies!) is REALLY appreciated 😊 I just wish the UA-cam algorithm would throw us a bone... there must be more than 500 people who'd enjoy this video (even if I do say so myself, haha). Un abrazo desde México 🤗
As usual with other videos, this video doesn't disappoint! I too don't like spicy foods. Hard video: i had most of them wrong. But still educational to watch. Thank you for teaching us! 😊
We both survived, haha! The book is "Uno soñaba que era rey" by Enrique Serna. It's a tantalizing glimpse into the realities of Mexican society, with chapters written in "barrio" Spanish, "fresa" Spanish, and everything in between. Everything by Serna is excellent, btw. Thanks so much for the tip 🤗

Haha, yeah, I think Mex slang is quite niche as it wasn't that popular a video :) Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the fun video. I hope you are both ok. And Rupert, what is the favorite book that you reference?

Appreciate the content, but please don't ruin your health over it.
Yes, we won't be doing another chili challenge, that's for sure 🤗
