- In this Video I'm going to show you how to replace Rear brake shoe On Honda Activa 2G model.
Same procedure lies on all Honda scooters.
It is very easy process to do and just few tools require to do it Your self job.
Almost this process lies on other brands scooters like:- Hero , Yamaha , Suzuki , TVS , Aprilia , vespa , Okinawa etc etc.
This video gives you knowledge of replacing brake shoes and help in saving lots of Money.
Excellent video. As you said I am a south Indian, do not understand hindi; but I could understand things watching you do. I have a honda lead scooter, which is pretty much similar to the one you did. I live in London, and to put the break pads, mechanic asked £300, which is almost 30,000 Indian rupee. That's the reason I watched the video to know if I could do it myself. Honda ke vehicles ki torque values sirf Honda ke Service Center pe kaam karne Vale Technician and foreman ko HI pata hai👍👍

I have new TVS Jupiter and it is just 4.5 months old and just 2550kms total run. 2nd free service is done. Tyre pressure is ok. Engine oil and gear oil is just changed few days ago. Rear tyre is freely move.
My problem is that the scooter is always start to vibrating around 45 to 50 km/h speed and if two persons are sitting on scooter then its vibration increases and start from 35 to 50km/h speed. After 52 km/h speed no more vibrations. Vibrations coming from handle, floor board and slightly from rear side when pillion also sit. Is it required to use sandpaper in clutch cover, clutch shoe, rear tyre assembly and rear brake shoes and also clean the clutch cover and greasing the rollers in clutch and variator? I see some videos on internet to use ragemaar/sandpaper in rear tyre's internal assembly area, brake shoes, clutch shoes and also clean the clutch area and greasing all rollers of clutch and variator but it is not mentioned in TVS manual book and also service centre guys had never done it.
I told this vibrating problem to TVS service centre during free service but they just tight the all screws.
What you think, what is the actual problem of vibration around 40 to 50 km/h speed. Is this a problem of clutch shoe, Variator, rollers or something else? What is the solution? Please help me.

Q1. so it is the only problem of less greeze and dust in Variator's rollers Or it is also due to some problem in clutch? May be problem of clutch shoes or low greese or wear and tear in clutch rollers ?
Q2. And is there any need to use sandpaper/ragemaar inside clutch hollow round cover where clutch shoes attached.
Q3. Pickup is also bit reduced after 4 months. Do I have to ragemaar the clutch cover and clutch shoes for better pickup?
Clean and regrease the Variator
and Yes you have to rub Ragemaar on clutch shoe to make a better pickup

You can use 24mm Ring Spanner or 24mm Socket to open rear wheel Center Nut. 🙏🙏🙏

My activa handle vibrates while braking, so should I change the rear brake shoes or drum all together , because I have ridden almost 40,000 Kms ty?
Aagla wheel aagar shake karta hai toh wheel bearing ka issue hoo sakta hai. Aur brake shoe bhi check kar lena front ke.
Aagar Rear brake lagane par handle vibrate Kare to brake shoe aur drum ko check kar ke replace Karo. Aur peche ki drive shaft ki Play bhi check karna. Rear drive shaft ka Rear wheel bearing mei bhi Play aane ki vajhey se handle vibrate karta hai. Brake lagane par

But but check the wheel bearing first. Most common problem. And I also forget to tell you to also check front suspension bush. This also can be the reason. Check these parts as I explained in previous comment and rectify the problem.

Iski koi expected kilometer life nahi hoti. Yeah depend karta hai ki aap kitna jyada brake ko use karte hoo. Agar Jada use Kare Ho brake ka toh approximately apke scooter ka genuine brake shoe 8,000-10,000 kms chal jye gey agar brake ka bilkul kum use Kare Ho to andaja 15,000-22,000 kms tak ya uss se bhi jyada chal jye gey

City Rider's Vlogs I used just 24mm socket with 'L' Handle to open the Rear wheel Hub. And 1 axle rod or you can use any iron Rod to jam the Rear wheel.
8mm number box wrench with 14 mm to adjust the brake slave lever nut.
