I'm pretty sure Dolly was reaaaaaally talking to Miley at the verse "And I hope life, will treat you kind" etc, because... well, she's her 'fairy godmother' and the rumour it's that Miley kept crying during the rehearsals of this song, so I guess this performance was quite meaningful for both of them. Anyway, great reaction, thank you!
They really do ☺️✨ There’s something about them collabing that touches my soul, they’re a great match ❤️ Thank you so much for watching! Hope you’re having a good relaxing (or exciting) weekend ☺️
💖 Thanks for this reaction! They really made these songs work together. The "I will always love" you line from "Wrecking Ball" made is sung so differently it took a moment to realize it is the title of the next song. It made a great transition. I loved Dolly's vulnerability and then Miley matched it in her own way for the second song, which also added to the connection between the songs. 💗💖 If you are ever looking for the ultimate medley to react to, it might be the Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand "Come On Get Happy/Happy Days Are Here Again" performance. It is from Judy's 1960's TV show. It is an amazing arrangement for two unmatchable voices. 💗💓
If Miley and she sang in rehearsals and they recorded their voice, I saw a video of the pre-rehearsal of how they sang it live but without people, and Miley even cried, so I imagine they used that pre-rehearsal to put it at the end of the song and everything will be Perfect, that's why some parts look like this, but Miley doesn't use that technique almost never, I think she used it that time because it was on television and New Year's Eve
it's so amazing to see dolly who has a long career in music singing in such an authentic and smooth voice and doing this feat with milley was so special Miley's voice is so deep and strong, i really like miley, both of them singing together it was a beautiful harmonic sound that I love so much I was like the audience getting goosebumps When became "And i will always love you" holly molly i almost cried 😂 If you like i highly recommend Hero from Mariah Carey from 1993 Such a fun reaction as always 💙
@@HegeOfficial Oh yeah, there's a live performance that she made in Proctor's Theater in 1993,she is wearing a long black dress, but there's also one she did at tokyo dome in 1996, have these two options 😂😂😂 It's just amazing 💛
they recorded the performance before they went live, those clips were on youtube but got deleted, however it´s still 'live' vocals and they are so good.
Miley never lip syncs but I do think that this particular performance was lip synced by both of them because they wanted it to be perfect. The rest of their songs that night were live
It also depends on they normally pronounce words too. According to my 24 year old daughter who was in choir in school. My youngest daughter was in choir from 13 to 18. Dolly coming the mountains of Tennessee and Miley has Billy Ray's Kentucky hills sound. I pronounce words like my dad who was from Michigan, but I was raised in Oregon. My mom was raised in Oregon by a dad who was from Ohio. So with my dad and my gramps being from the mid-west I sound different from others
Of course, how someone pronounces a word depends on their dialect/accent: that's what dialects/accents are all about. But in this case with Miley pronouncing it "Jolayn" it purely has to do with vocal technique :). I say this with certainty, cause when you hear Miley talking in the beginning you clearly hear her pronounce it "Joleen", but when she sings it she pronounces it "Jolayn", and it's more exaggerated on the higher notes. Hence my explanation on vowel changes/assimilation and its function in different vocal qualities/techniques.
You should react to so hyang, Bridge over troubled water, im sure that she gonna blown away with her vocal techniques, shes a cancer survivor and don’t sing for fame!! Just to comfort people!! 🙌🏼✨👁 when you react to her im gonna share your video on our fans group!! You’re so pretty i love your golden hair girl!! 💛
Original take you've got there. You know it's not every 8 seconds, and if you know a little bit about copyright you also know why. Or feel free to google how that works cause I don't owe you an explanation 😉. If my video format is not for you - feel free to simply not watch.
Stems are pre-recorded bits that they f.ex. can play during a live performance. They can be instruments, backing vocals or main vocals, but in this case I meant that they might have used it for a bit of the main vocals towards the end :) Thank you so much for the hearts
Oh did she? Lol. If my format isn’t for you, that’s totally fine. You can just click off, but thanks for taking your time to leave a comment and help «that girl» get more engagement on the video :)

Right?? It felt like it. And aaw, that's so touching that she cried during the rehearsal
I saw a clip tho I think on TikTok their rehearsal yes it's True that she cried
I Love when Dolly Parton and her goddaughter Miley Cyrus sing together, beautiful ❤❤
I love the contrast in them not only their voices, but their dresses and how Dolly as a very grouded stance while Miley is more expressive.
What a performance! They both sure know how to put on a show. They both balanced each other so well, I love it! Great analysis!

Damn you keep on pausing, how can you enjoy watching this performance with every 8 seconds you pause it.
Original take you've got there.

Please react to Mileys new single Flowers
As soon as she performs it live (I don't think she has yet?) I will definitely do so
What are stems?
Love your reactions to this incredible pairing of these 2 legends! 💕Miley and Dolly…and YOU ❤️ Hege! 🙂

Thank you so much for the hearts
If you love the power of backing vocals, try when I get where I'm goin by brad paisley with dolly backing. It makes the song.
18:02 OMG you have a beuaty voice 😱🖤
Aw, thank you sm!
You have to fight for your dreams

Pretty eyes. I have the same. Maybe we're kin. ;)
Com'n! Stop talking!!! Just listen up!
No. Go watch the performance if you don't want commentary.
You’re doing a lot with the commentary
That's the way I roll, and if it's not for you that's fine :).
#mimed. The whole thing That's why Miley is overacting and Dolly looks lost at times... Love them both, but this is a pre-recorded vocal
You talk too much...
