Personally, I believe Fortiche Production's animation on Arcane is as groundbreaking for the west as Spider-Verse was. In every other sense, Riot Games absoultely blew it out of the park, what a masterpiece this is.
I’ve really been enjoying Viktor’s character so far. Watching him struggle with his own mortality and the politics of the world has been so interesting. Can’t wait for act 3!
With the way we know his character arc is likely going to go he and Jayce could quite easily become the standout characters of the show for me. Unless the Warwick reveal happens in the next three episodes in which case he will DEFINITELY be the standout for me.

Me! I really need a 2nd season, it really felt sad that it ended up like that, but in a good way, like it was a really epic finale. (TMI but the only thing that deceived me was that Caitlyn and Vi didn't even have a kiss, but I have my hopes for the second season)
Silco is the best written character out of every single animated movie I've seen in my entire life time. All of these characters grew on me, and the supposed "villain" had such a thoughtful writing process, Riot should prioritize on making stories like these.
And Vi recognizing it immediately, even though so many painful years passed! Just incredible💔. It deserves a 100 IMDb rating not just 9. Even though a 9 is the highest animation rating I've seen but still 🙂🔪
I usually don't like waiting for episodes to come out, but I really like the way Riot is doing the whole 3 act thing with Arcane, both acts so far have their own identities they feel like mini seasons, this show is just so damn beautiful!
Yeah, I think Netflix and other shows should structure their seasons in a similar fashion as well. I know some shows/genres might not benefit from it, but I enjoy this alot more than binging an entire season in one or two sittings
@@Maletizer there's just so much information to take in and compile and connect together (especially for us lore nuts) that dividing it into acts is the best thing they've done. Just enough to digest until they punch your gut again with each act. But act 1 ending is GOATED (in my personal opinion).
Yea, it's a fantastic way of doing it! It's like getting a movie every time. And just in general, not releasing the entire season at once. Right, Netflix?! That's a big pet peeve of mine. I really think shows are best when it's released episodically, or like this with a couple episodes at a time, because it gives the viewer and fandom time to digest the episodes, make theories, do rewatches or create fanart. It sparks conversation! No one's gonna talk about what they think will happen in the finale if the premiere and finale are aired at the same time.
Personally, I enjoy watching all of a show at once since I have no self-control. However, I definitely prefer this way of releasing episodes more than what Disney+ and Amazon are doing with their 3 episode release and then one episode per week. I was practically desperate for the next episode of Invincible to come out and I feel like it would have been more enjoyable in short spurts rather than drawing it out completely.
So we have Riot games but more like Riot cinematic universe and Riot music production....like you can think anything about the game but Riot teams that work on the visuals, sound and music are literal gods and whenever they hire some band or singer for their new song, it just hits just hits the right spot
If a mounth ago someone whould told me they will make one of the best animated series for recent memory, I would doubt that. Really hope they won't ruin it... because it is a surprise to be sure but a welcome one.

I’m not a League of Legends fan. Never played it, not familiar at all. This series is incredible though!! Right up there with Avatar TLA and Batman TAS. I think it edges out Castlevania as best animated series on Netflix and I loooove that series.

As much as I'm sure people want to continue the story in Piltover/Zaun I'm interested in what they can do with the rest of the world such as Demacia vs Noxus or Zed and Shen's story etc. Point being there's a lot of stories they could tell in Runeterra which we really don't experience in the game.

Jinx's story is the most tragic, epic and beautiful at the same time. Just how I feel watching her holding a flame hoping to see her sister after many years. I will not get over arcane in a long time, it touched me deeply, way deeper than any other series or movie.
I thought Ufotable's way of combining 3D and 2D was incredible-and it is, especially compared to other Japanese studios-but Studio Fortiche delivered on a whole 'nother level. It's breathtaking. (Of course, let's keep in mind the time and money that went into Arcane.)
That last episode felt so damn long, but in a good way. It kept me on Edge similiar to the last episode of Act 1. Jinx' fading hope, Silcos wrath but most importantly Viktor clutching onto his last hope, unwilling to let it go. However this episode didn't release the tension for everything is still building up to that final blow, to whatever comes in Act 3. The only sad thing is that there will be no happy end, everyone knows how Jinx will end and what happens to Viktor, yet this series manages to still tell a story with a known ending to damn well that I can't put it into worthy words.
We all know the transformation of Jinx and Viktor, but we never knew their journey. In my opinion, the journey gives meaning to the transformation, and that’s exactly what the show gives us.

Absolutely love this song, I didn’t think much of league of legends arcane when I heard about it, just thought that it was going to be a giant advertisement for the game. But now I see my mistake, I watched all six episodes when the second act came out, this show has just as much potential to be as good if not better then all the other popular shows and movies out there. Great story, phenomenal music, blew my mind.
Single most powerful scene in this already mind blowing masterpiece of a series. I've seen some great series, but MY God this was beyond anything I've ever seen.
Woodkid's orchestral style is so strong on its own, it translates seamlessly to a full orchestral rendition. But holy shit I did not know Woodkid could belt like that, when I first heard the vocals during the chorus I had no idea it was him.
Remember the scene from Star Wars episode 5, where Han Solo gets frozen? That scene was giving oposite thoughts for me, because something sad was happening and at the same time the music was intense and epic. So perfect. Since then so many other movies, musicians tried to do the same but failed to do so... you just created history because you succeded, and for that i thank you. This is truly a masterpiece.

what made arcane good is also what partly made league good, the story, while the game is only using the characters as tools to play, the show is making the characters the main attraction, having us follow the stories we were searching for.
I like how Guns for Hire, Dirty Little Animals, and Our Love soundtracks felt like its an old song and Riot just use it for Arcane, but, it was actually a new song and kudos to the composers of the song.
I want to kiss the creators who made this, it inspires me, it makes me feel emotions I thought I never had, it makes me sad and happy, it makes me mad!

I hope every single game company take notice on how Arcane is done. It’s perfectly weaving the lore of the game, music and animation together into this kickass show that anyone can enjoy.
I think one of the main reasons this is so good is that the actual creators of the universe are the ones directing and pulling all the strings. Every other game or book adaptation has the creators onboard as producers or advisors but not actually in the driver's seat. If there's one thing people at Riot Games have it's passion
When Jinx hopefully turns on the blue flare after deciding between Vi and the Crystal, this song plays while Vi is running. The pain on jinx while holding the flare as the brothers she killed appear with her. This is on another level. Riot really created something awesome

Jinx's story is the most tragic, epic and beautiful at the same time. Just how I feel watching her holding a flame hoping to see her sister after many years. I will not get over arcane in a long time, it touched me deeply, way deeper than any other series or movie.

I thought Ufotable's way of combining 3D and 2D was incredible-and it is, especially compared to other Japanese studios-but Studio Fortiche delivered on a whole 'nother level. It's breathtaking.

That last episode felt so damn long, but in a good way. It kept me on Edge similiar to the last episode of Act 1. Jinx' fading hope, Silcos wrath but most importantly Viktor clutching onto his last hope, unwilling to let it go. However this episode didn't release the tension for everything is still building up to that final blow, to whatever comes in Act 3.
The only sad thing is that there will be no happy end, everyone knows how Jinx will end and what happens to Viktor, yet this series manages to still tell a story with a known ending to damn well that I can't put it into worthy words.
We all know the transformation of Jinx and Viktor, but we never knew their journey. In my opinion, the journey gives meaning to the transformation, and that’s exactly what the show gives us.

Absolutely love this song, I didn’t think much of league of legends arcane when I heard about it, just thought that it was going to be a giant advertisement for the game. But now I see my mistake, I watched all six episodes when the second act came out, this show has just as much potential to be as good if not better then all the other popular shows and movies out there. Great story, phenomenal music, blew my mind.

I've seen some great series, but MY God this was beyond anything I've ever seen.
Didn't even start and already 500+ likes - shows how good you are.
Woodkid's orchestral style is so strong on its own, it translates seamlessly to a full orchestral rendition.
But holy shit I did not know Woodkid could belt like that, when I first heard the vocals during the chorus I had no idea it was him.
Remember the scene from Star Wars episode 5, where Han Solo gets frozen? That scene was giving oposite thoughts for me, because something sad was happening and at the same time the music was intense and epic. So perfect. Since then so many other movies, musicians tried to do the same but failed to do so... you just created history because you succeded, and for that i thank you. This is truly a masterpiece.

I don't have access to a streaming service, so I haven't yet seen the series, but from the chance video essays and now music I've heard from it, gosh, I barely know this world and these characters and yet the music enough is alone to move me. What art!

what made arcane good is also what partly made league good, the story, while the game is only using the characters as tools to play, the show is making the characters the main attraction, having us follow the stories we were searching for.
The bar has been raised so high with Arcane. Nothing else compares. It is objectively the best thing on Netflix

I like how Guns for Hire, Dirty Little Animals, and Our Love soundtracks felt like its an old song and Riot just use it for Arcane, but, it was actually a new song and kudos to the composers of the song.

I hope every single game company take notice on how Arcane is done. It’s perfectly weaving the lore of the game, music and animation together into this kickass show that anyone can enjoy.
I think one of the main reasons this is so good is that the actual creators of the universe are the ones directing and pulling all the strings. Every other game or book adaptation has the creators onboard as producers or advisors but not actually in the driver's seat. If there's one thing people at Riot Games have it's passion
