Meghalaya: MP Saleng Sangma speaks on key issues post Tura victory

The Tura Lok Sabha constituency, a stronghold of the PA Sangma family for over 45 years, saw a significant shift in the recent Lok Sabha elections. Congress' Saleng A. Sangma defeated Agatha Sangma with a margin of 1,55,241 votes.
EastMojo caught up with the newly elected MP, who spoke at length on issues including the demand for Inner Line Permit, inclusion of Khasi-Garo languages, and floods in Garo Hills, among several others.
Sangma, a former four-time MLA from the Gambegre constituency, also asserted that he remains irreplaceable in his constituency. Despite stepping down as an MLA, he maintains regular contact with his constituents.

I don't know how good of a politician Mr.Saleng is but I do know he's a true A'chik (Garo) He knows the struggle of the normal people, he knows our issues and ik he will not betray the sentiments of our people.
