    Thank you for not playing music the entire video!

    I've always told people who doubt the 650 dual sports that those bikes will go wherever the rider has the balls to take them

    Looks like good times to me! :-) I have to agree with "Shadrach Lawson"; I appreciate the absence of a music overlay.

    Was on a ride a couple weeks back on my XR 650L with a group of KTM owners. One of the fellas was wondering why he couldn't keep me in sight. It is not the bike, it is the rider. looks like you gents had an great time ...

    love this bike, its defiantly understated all around dirt bike - could use better front forks like a full showa front end kit ;)

    And THANK YOU there is NO 'music'. (noise)

    Single track is so much more work. Bet you guys were puffing pretty hard most of that day. Still, looks like a great time out there.

      DR Diaries yea it was a lot of work but so worth it. It's always a good time.

    Really like this vid and the connection with nature this bike allows. I found it strangely relaxing. Thanks for posting.

    im not trying to start a fight here but i do this same thing on my klr650. i live in Connecticut and the woods here are rocky and hilly. all these 650 thumpers are the same . if you piont it were you want to go , it will go . the rest is just trying to stay on . theyre mules . the only ting that makes the xr , dr or klr suck is scared drivers . point and shoot . im 6'5" 240 lbs and fit and have some screws loose . maybe that helps . but if you got nobbys and 650 cc and you cant off road . Its you... not the bike

    Great video. You're lucky to have such a great playground for the DR.

    Those trails looked NICE. I have only been to a few ORV parks in my life. Great times! BTW, you did very good handling the dr.

      Gladius Jon thanks. It's been a great year learning the dirt. Believe it or not you've helped with that. I'm looking forward to an even better year in 2017.

      Thats really cool to know man, thanks! If you dont mind me asking, how did I help? To be honest, I dont know how to judge my own riding skill. Or how Im doing with the Video aspect. Not a lot of people give me in depth feedback.

      It was watching the places you go on the dr650 and seeing what it could do the helped me decide to get one.

    Is that brandtagone your riding with? Those trails look great! I would love to ride my DR650 there! The only good single track I've ridden is in Colorado but it's not as lush as where you guys are, a lot more rocky but the DR handles it just fine. Anyway guys, very nice video really enjoyed it!

      Trevor Jameson yep that's Brandtagone. he got me hooked good.

    Are you both on DR650's?
    Thanks for proving the DR650 can do tight single track.
    I'd like to see a KLR650 try those trails, no way.
    I'm in the market for a dualsport that can do both highway and trails well.
    I'm a smaller gent, only 5'7" so I need a bike with a lowish seat height.

    • @Gamet36
      @Gamet36  7 років тому +1

      Doug Maverick the DR would be the perfect choice for you. As you can see on many of videos it does do both.

    "This looks familiar" "I don't know , looks fun though" . Classic lol . Those trails look real squirrelly , good job staying upright .

    You guys ride those 650's pretty good. Beautiful enduro trails, like northern MN but hilly. Is it always that wet in Wash? I dont know what oil your using, but semi-synthetic will keep it cooler while slipping the clutch in the tight stuff, less stalling, and less clutch cable slack/fade then. Would not recommend full synthetic, clutch will prematurely slip if abused.

    Tough trail men .....i done alot of forest lanes on mine but i dont think i tryed anything as rough as those single trails in the vid fair play....Prob just spin with standard trailwing rear tyre......

    Parts of this trail looks familiar, been watching a lot of Brandtagone's videos. Nice riding, interesting that the DR seemed to stall so readily. Stock carb?

    • @Gamet36
      @Gamet36  6 років тому

      Hadgerz the stalling is operator error for the most part. Brandtagone and I go here often. Its close by and fun.

    Where is this ORV park at? I'm in Snohomish WA and would love to find somewhere closer to ride both my DR650 and KTM200. Is this out on North Carpenter Road?
