Out of curiosity, how would I submit a replay for review? I more so would like to submit just to get an outside perspective on my flaws and how to improve.
The Moira spray has a heal over time. Leaning into that and spacing out spritzs, when you can, extends her resource a lot. (Full hold is higher hps but inefficient)
What I don't really understand is, if I'm a moira main, why would I submit a vod where I'm mostly playing other characters? Wouldn't you want to review your main first? So that you can improve on the character you play the most? I mean, maybe if I've already submitted a vod and had my main character reviewed it would make sense to have my secondary characters reviewed next so I can improve on the games I end up flexing. But the question becomes how often are you forced to play something other than your main? If it's a sizable amount like 25% or something I'd completely understand it. Especially if you end up losing way too many games that you flex during. But if it's like 5%, even 10%? And you maybe have like a 45% or even 40% winrate? That is a rather small amount of improvement you'd see, especially for the effort you'd have to put into learning those other characters to reach like 50%+ winrate. I'd rather focus on improving on the support that I main more than anything.
Also... another thing to note... DON'T SIT AFK DURING A TEAMFIGHT! I don't care if your teammate is roasting the hell out of you. MUTE THEM. I probably would've already muted them at the very start of the game when they demanded Moira! There is almost no point in trying to reason with toxic teammates, especially if they were already toxic from before the game even started. They are going to find some way to be toxic, blame you and throw, no matter what you do! Getting distracted by them is much worse than ignoring them since it practically becomes a 5v3 for the enemy team rather than a 5v4! At least a 5v4 is possible although very difficult to pull off. I mean, I watched a video where a mei was building snowmen the entire game and had only like 20 damage total, and they won! I think it was like in plat/diamond too! TLDR: MUTE THE TOXIC PLAYER(S). Avoid them! Report them if they seem intent on throwing. Move on to the next game! Hope that they end up on the enemy team next game so you get a free win back from them.
Yeah I don't understand this submission either. Why submit a replay where your teammate is blatantly throwing by not participating half of the match? So this player has to solo heal? Honestly this vod doesn't show one way or the other if this person deserves to climb, but based off their cd usage (or lack thereof) and positioning (sometimes having ok positions but immediately abandoning them) I'd say no.
It is an ego thing. He's not trying to learn from mistakes. He's trying to get validation that he's doing the right thing and this game is no fault of his.
@@cnaizhen I personally don't really see how that makes much sense. An ally on my team decides they are going to throw if I pick the character I main. We end up losing because we are playing 4v5 due to this person's temper tantrum. There is no question of right or wrong here. That throwing lucio is 100% at fault no matter how you slice it. I personally wouldn't have even entertained their toxicity and just muted them, avoided them, reported them, and moved on to the next game, win or lose. Even if you do entertain them and pick another character, who says they are even going to be playing well while playing hugely on tilt? It'll probably be almost like we're playing 4v5 regardless of what we do to entertain this toxic player.
@@icycloud6823 I don't think you understand my point. I'm never looking at who lost the game, but I'm psycho-analyzing the vod replay submitter, and replying to your question in the opening comment. Lets get this straight, I agree that that lucio threw the game (which is honestly irrelevant to my point). What's important is that the vod review submitter *knows that lucio threw because he played bad*. This caused the player to doubt his playing skills. If you look at 0:46, the submitter's opening comment is about how his friend thinks that he should be ranked higher. This is an obvious sign of insecurity, and supports what I said above. Which brings us back to my previous reply: Submitting the video for review is an ego thing. He's not trying to learn from mistakes. The submitter is trying to get validation that he's doing the right thing, and that the lucio didn't understand the high game impact of submitter's Juno/moiria. Basically, the submitter wants to establish that this game is no fault of his.
Completely different game, but similar scenario. In Ranked Smite long ago, me and my friend were doing Joust (3v3 mode). The random wanted us to ban a particular god, but we banned other gods instead. The random typed "GG" when the enemy team picked that god. Random proceeded to idle and afk the entire match, while me and my friend dominated the enemy team, feeding me a massive lead going 10 - 0. Despite this momentum, the random remained obstinate, typing and emoting to us, and eventually the enemy team realized the random wasn't playing and changed their playstyle to completely ignore him and full dive me with everything. We lost~
In the beginning, they said they are a Moira one trick (I think) and only play moira. They don't know how to play Juno, they said they just picked anyone (by saying they landed on juno)
i dont get how people can be otp’s 😭 in my opinion you should learn AT LEAST some of the heros on the roster or you end up in a situation like this. i play moira mostly too but i play other healers besides mercy 😂 when they were playing juno their team is playing a little bit agressive and they’re just sitting in the back just healing 😭😭😭 they could’ve been using juno’s abilities waaay more.
I don't understand this submission. It feels like the submitter just wanted some vindication for the teammate throwing and being in elo hell.
Ngl both of these players should queue for dps instead of supports. The amount of time their teammates were all running around critical health in the game was so tragic
I’ll never understand how someone will just not learn abilities. Flats had a vid review of a hardstuck bronze since 2018 and they just weren’t using dynamite as Ashe at all. I can’t think of an OW character that doesn’t regularly use their full kit.
Honestly, I don't understand why they chose to swap to Juno of all Supports when they're a Moira Main. Juno is probably one of the more aim intensive Support in my opinion, making her less reliable to get consistent value if you know your aim isn't good. Since there's no other damage-'auto'aim Support, they should've at least chosen a heal-'auto'aim Support like Kiriko, Lucio, Mercy, and/or Lifeweaver. Kiriko is probably the closest Support to Moira, being a bit close-range that can switch to damage and heals with some form of mobility, a simple kit that rewards execution and timing like Moira. Juno, on the other hand, is pretty different to Moira which is probably why they didn't use Speed Ring that often.
i had an enemy team Ana come and just stand next to me as Widow. she would sleep me once in awhile but for the most part she just hung out with me and apologized every time one of her teammates killed me. best part was it was only my husband (Bastion) and I that she wasn’t going for. she was standing next to me and healing her team while i damaged her team. it was iconic and her team couldn’t complain because she had 5k healing, 3k damage, and 2 kills 😂
Question: what did you think about their movement on Juno? I feel like there's a big skill gap for myself in terms of optimizing movement skills on heroes I'm not as comfortable on. Not speed ring but junos glide, bap jump, etc. I'm not sure if it's an easy thing to explain/teach, but an in depth video would be so interesting. Or is it something that just comes with lots of hours?
Their Juno movement was not good. No speed ring (Juno always gets speed ring benefit even if it isn't placed near her), and for her glide, she never uses it to get to higher ground. Glide can scale ledges. The lack of speed ring is criminal though. Poor rein.
I know the ending wasn’t in their favor due to a thrower, but I genuinely think if the Moira played that better they might’ve had a better shot. They were probably not in the best mindset to do that, but if they just had used better map awareness/positioning and fade control it could’ve been a lot closer. Other than that it was an inherent disadvantage
DPS moira ptsd is real. But like, EVERY support can be a dps if they want to, it's about balance. Moira can do both, just like any sup, but most moira chooses to be mainly dps.
Insane teammate. Always go for comfort picks in low elo and then switch up after a few fights if needed. If u wanna play Moira and got her first then go for it. Tbh if someone wants to throw, they're gonna throw regardless. If the other support wants to play Moira themselves they should've asked nicely
Always boggles my mind when people complain about a Moira doing dmg.. (Personally I try to be balanced between heals/dmg) Like tell me you don't know how to play Moira without telling me. If I don't do damage, I don't get resources to heal y'all. Btw you seem more more comfortable on Moira. Your movements (minus the wall fades) Edit : Did I really count ONE (1) speed ring in the entire first Round????
console is so crazy. Dude is somehow gold on console and if he was on PC he'd be in the depths of bronze leaving a bad steam review about how his teammates only type slurs to him and keep telling him to quit the game.
I love how we've gone from "Can I go X instead?" to "If you choose X, then I'm throwing!" Okay cool. Then I'm reporting you for throwing the match, even if you don't. The fact that you're trying to control the lobby by complaining about someone playing a certain hero benefits no one and instead sets a negative tone for the whole match.
There's one moira/junkrat player in silver/gold pc lobbies that will throw games if someone on their team takes a moira even if they are on dps just for no reason
If that's the case then I gotta watch out when I'm playing support. I already had a Junkrat complaining about another support who wasn't healing enough on zen and just swapped to mercy so that Junkrat proceeded to throw and just jumps off the map until we lose both rounds on koth mode because "if I don't get healed I won't play". That's literally what they said
Ugh, this guy is at the right rank/elo even if I hate the other support's afking/overall toxic behavior. I think if they want to rank up, they might want to be comfortable with a bunch of characters (not all but some) and utilize the kits better in situations.
Bruh had this one teammate playing ana complained the entire game that I was playing Moira, it got so bad they ended up throwing a winnable game towards the end. Icing on the cake was I saw they're profile and it said grandmaster in their player title and we were playing low diamond. Bros not just mad, he's miserable cause he's falling hard and he'd rather blame everyone else but themselves. They were the least performing player in the match bth
I got told I should unalive myself because I chose Moira and the other support wanted her. Edit to add that I am not and was not in a good place mentally and people really shouldn't say that kind of stuff regardless of the reason.
We lost~
7:55 i remember that. i always look down at my ult after a fight and im like why didnt i use that..?
something something first something something emongg ur so fine something something
Half of the video is him not using speed ring and not hitting their shots. Even on PlayStation it’s easy to aim.
In the beginning, they said they are a Moira one trick (I think) and only play moira. They don't know how to play Juno, they said they just picked anyone (by saying they landed on juno)
Ah yes the classic ego take. Its easy, and you're bad if you can't do what I can do. Classic
well duh they have garbage aim bc theyre a filthy moira main
i dont get how people can be otp’s 😭 in my opinion you should learn AT LEAST some of the heros on the roster or you end up in a situation like this. i play moira mostly too but i play other healers besides mercy 😂 when they were playing juno their team is playing a little bit agressive and they’re just sitting in the back just healing 😭😭😭 they could’ve been using juno’s abilities waaay more.
I don't understand this submission. It feels like the submitter just wanted some vindication for the teammate throwing and being in elo hell.
Yass!!! Less chat, more CAT!
Ngl both of these players should queue for dps instead of supports. The amount of time their teammates were all running around critical health in the game was so tragic
I have to think players are actively refusing to use their skills bc how does one not even use speed ring in a remotely tactical way the entire time
I’ll never understand how someone will just not learn abilities.
18:55 needs smooth jazzy elevator music
Ok this guy is definitely not in elo hell. He got carried hard ny his team this game
i had an enemy team Ana come and just stand next to me as Widow. she would sleep me once in awhile but for the most part she just hung out with me and apologized every time one of her teammates killed me. best part was it was only my husband (Bastion) and I that she wasn’t going for. she was standing next to me and healing her team while i damaged her team. it was iconic and her team couldn’t complain because she had 5k healing, 3k damage, and 2 kills 😂
Poor rein.
Literally get this all the time for playing Winton, got flamed earlier today even though our cass was 2 and 6 at the end
SPEEEEED RIIIING!!!!
I know the ending wasn’t in their favor due to a thrower, but I genuinely think if the Moira played that better they might’ve had a better shot. They were probably not in the best mindset to do that, but if they just had used better map awareness/positioning and fade control it could’ve been a lot closer. Other than that it was an inherent disadvantage
why is the thumbnail in dead dawg saloon
I can't unsee it lol
imagine if this person would swap out their speed ring and fade usage
The Night and Day difference between Juno and Moira game play is wild!
Nano? Can we get a nano blade going?... umm i mean speed ring
moira, sombra, roadhog, kiriko, hammond, doomfist...why hasn't the hero design and balance team been replaced yet???
Always boggles my mind when people complain about a Moira doing dmg.. (Personally I try to be balanced between heals/dmg)
Like tell me you don't know how to play Moira without telling me.
If I don't do damage, I don't get resources to heal y'all.
Btw you seem more more comfortable on Moira. Your movements (minus the wall fades)
Edit : Did I really count ONE (1) speed ring in the entire first Round????
SPEED RING🗣️ is the new KITSUNE 🗣️
Speed ring is the new kitsune XD but for real when I have a Juno on my team as a DPS main and they NEVER hit speed ring I know it’s likely ggs
That's some super petty shit lol
Maybe he wants her to use the speed ring
maybe the other support was moira one trick, and they couldnt play any other support when rosie took moira so they started threatening
i think he likes speed rings
They were talking shit in chat, guaranteed.... welcome to overwatch
Does emongg still play with flats???
console is so crazy. Dude is somehow gold on console and if he was on PC he'd be in the depths of bronze leaving a bad steam review about how his teammates only type slurs to him and keep telling him to quit the game.
🙄
I don't know what this space girl does but I know the player is stting on this "speed ring" ability like he doesn't know she has it.
I love how we've gone from "Can I go X instead?" to "If you choose X, then I'm throwing!"
Okay cool. Then I'm reporting you for throwing the match, even if you don't. The fact that you're trying to control the lobby by complaining about someone playing a certain hero benefits no one and instead sets a negative tone for the whole match.
Didn’t not use speed ring once lmao
Speed Ring!? I thought you said Peach Ring?
this juno is gonna make me tweak
How do we get our videos reviewed? I was Plat before and now I’m Silver 1. Idk what I’m doing wrong
I hate players who demand what heros their teammates play
I think if they want to rank up, they might want to be comfortable with a bunch of characters (not all but some) and utilize the kits better in situations.
cute cat :D
Bruh had this one teammate playing ana complained the entire game that I was playing Moira, it got so bad they ended up throwing a winnable game towards the end. Icing on the cake was I saw they're profile and it said grandmaster in their player title and we were playing low diamond. Bros not just mad, he's miserable cause he's falling hard and he'd rather blame everyone else but themselves. They were the least performing player in the match bth
5:16 what a voice crack😂
This is GOLD?!
I got told I should unalive myself because I chose Moira and the other support wanted her.
Edit to add that I am not and was not in a good place mentally and people really shouldn't say that kind of stuff regardless of the reason. It wasn't a joke and it messed me up because it's literally a game ..
don don
Their aim looks like mine rn 😭
I took too long of a break and my sens is too fast now.
alright so!
2:53 rein tried to firestrike his own teammate 😂
Funny thing, I think I've been in a game with the other pissy Moira, and I am honestly not surprised. As I recall, they were indeed awful to play with.
the poor tank in this game. One support completely throwing and the other one playing juno without speeding rein ONCE from what I could see. What happened to the chat in video?
Juno low ranks is the biggest throw. They never know what to do or how to utilize her
17:15, stop using your Juno healing torpedos randomly. You legit just shot them out at two people full health for zero healing.
This was gold? This players shouldn't be past bronze imo. The Rein did pretty good tho.
That’s exactly how gold is people throw for the dumbest reasons
ELO hell isn't real.
think they use speed ring too much 0.o
Sorry I sided of waited until the start of the second round lol
Bruh how tf does someone not use their entire kit? Deserve bronze for that
Honestly i think he got carried by Rein. That dude played real good even though juno bad util usage. Most positioning looked good coz i think ur team pretty much set it yup.
i would have picked and stayed on moyra then reported them
