MotoAmerica 's Max Flinders 2023 EP.7

Before we get started. This is episode 7, and you maybe wondering where episode 5 and 6 are. Well I couldn't make it to round 5 The Ridge in Washington State, and round 6 Laguna Seca. There is a PodCast interview about Laguna.
We head into round 7 of MotoAmerica's 2023 race season in Brainerd Minnesota. That weekend was rough for both me and Max. For me I was super sick and only went out when he went out. And well it was rough for Max as well.
Friday morning on Superbikes it was a little different than last year. The reason is that they changed the track a little bit. The tiny change was messing with the flow through a couple of corners. Max had high expectations though. Coming off of last year's qualifying 8th being his highest qualifying in a while Max really wanted to come back and qualify that high again. However just like the past rounds everyone has gotten a little better than last year.
For the baggers during practice one Max didn't go out because of mechanical issue with the bike tire and the valve stem. Q1 was cut short because of another rider leaking oil all over the track. Q2 Max qualified. Even though he qualified and started the bagger races he didn't finish due to mechanical issues.
