Using a more expensive vehicle option with the VDV Dsh seems off. Plus it being slower means you can't use them as an emergency stop gap when needing a QRF unit when points are low.

I use his same support options in terms of AA, with VDV Igla instead of the Verba with the Skrezhet w/ Igla as carrier so you get an AA gun with missile teams to control points against helicopter pushes. SU57 with R-73 for air on air, The Buk M3 covers my artillery base while the more mobile derivatsiya is used to support pushes from a block or two in the rear. Russians and some USA decks benefit greatly from artillery supporting pushes directly, so having a dedicated artillery base that can act as a fall back resupply is useful. Just remember to spread out your units so they can't be taken out by single bombing runs. having a front line of air defense and a rear line of AA support will handle most things. People over commit on the early phase and end up struggling with getting units out later.@@g3koot100
