Lmao the headlight part is so true, wanna take your cowl off, headlight, want to change your shocks, headlight! Ive lost count of how many times mines been out lol
glad to see it’s gone to a good home on another blue ST lol, i’ll have a dig around the garage for that other nut and washer but I don’t remember it even being on there when I pulled it off the car
Awesome. Hopefully that spanner doesn't come back. I went from stock airbox to R-sport cone to ST200 airbox to ITG. I think the ITG kit is by far the best sounding and performing intake for stage2. I do love that fact it isn't loud in cabin, but with windows down you get some whooshy whooshy. Its loud enough to be a head turner, but not ridiculous. I love 1200-1500 soft upshifts from 1st to 2nd and hearing the turbo flutter too.
@@fordyford It is on the footpath side. hence the head turner. There is a bus stop near my work that has ped crossing i always stop at. everyone always looks up from their phone when i drive off from crossing lights lol
Hi mate good choice of intake think it's the best of the open cone filters as it won't suffer from heat soak as much as the others I ran one on mine for a good while until i put a hybrid on it and the whistling drove me mad so went back to the standard sy200 box. Class video mate 👌
I have the DV+. The mountune airbox is still very quiet and only sometimes with the windows down could I hear a faint noise when the DV valve opens. The DV is just a more robust version of the stock valve.
Darth Vader vibes incoming 👌🫶🏽👍🏽I’ve run one for two years and it’s been faultless, by far and away the best induction kit for the ST, they’ve been tried and tested for years and consistently come out on top. Just make sure you keep on top of the service schedule they perform best when oiled n cleaned. Six months is the recommended intervals but again this will depend on the conditions you drive in ie hot n dusty conditions will require you service it more often etc imo this induction adds to the driving experience 🤷♂️great install post as always tho Liam 🤝🫶🏽
@@yoric6939 that's what the car was missing after the cat back exhaust. The exhaust is pretty tasteful in volume as is this. If I had a loud booming 3" you might want a louder intake but this suits me nicely. Hopefully I can pick up a cleaning kit before Xmas and give it a good clean.

Want to do a res delete? Headlight.
Great video always enjoy a watch 👍👍 I've one of this with a cat back miltek and a plump back divertor valve sounds and goes a treat 👍👍👍
Thank you. It's good when you find a good combo that makes your car sound how you want it to.
I believe the nut at 7:49 is called a rivnut. Great video as always.
Thanks. I'll find a second one one day.

No stress mate. It's on solid. I'm sure I could find a nylock nut that size in Bunnings if I really wanted one lol. Thanks again.

Exactly, it's not dickhead loud but just enough to enjoy. I think it must be fairly loud from outside the car though lol.

Thank you. I did have the spanner come on yesterday at the end of it's first drive but it should be fine. Cleared when I turned it on today.
Fingers crossed it stays off ECU is very clever it knows when something has changed especially when it's to do with air flow 👍

@SuperJason941 hopefully it's clever enough to learn that we like it lol.
Hey mate do you have the dv+ or the gfb vta? Ive got a DV+ and the mountune airbox but get no turbo noise or sneeze or anything at all.
