That sephiroth rant was too raw so Square did their job perfectly on a pure antagonist with cool vibes haha. Nice video and looking forward to Princess Peach Showtime + Paper Mario besides catching up on late 2023 titles I couldn't get for time and priorities.
"Princess Peach: Showtime!" is also on my list of games to keep an eye on. It is also going to be the final brand new first party Nintendo game I play going forward, as I am going to retire (or at least semi-retire) from modern gaming after March 2024. Hopefully, the spin-off game will be a good send-off for me on the side of Nintendo.
@@MandyleePlays Well, for one, I have been playing video games since the 1990s, even going back to the Famicon era. Then there is the fact that many problems arose over the years since the seventh generation, and are still there to this day. After many years of playing video games, I have come to the conclusion that it was time for me to walk away from modern gaming, especially since Nintendo announced that they were going to open Nintendo Museum on March 2024. That is when I decided that "Princess Peach: Showtime!" would be the final brand new first party Nintendo game I play going forward, along with "Stellar Blade" for PlayStation 5 if it even gets released in the quarter half of 2024. With the new era of gamers, it is clear that the old era of gamers are not the priority anymore, which makes logical sense seeing that "Super Mario Odyssey" and "Super Mario Bros. Wonder" are departures from the traditional way gamers used to play.
Very good list (also sorry about the whole playing P3P just when P3R was announced tho, which yeah, Atlus do be like that, and yeah a lot is focused on Sephy, at this point he might as well be an internet troll) Anyway my picks Granblue Fantasy Relink Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Metaphor Refantazio Suikoden 1 + 2 HD Remasters Visions of Mana Persona 3 Reload
I'm still peeved about the P3R announcement. But at least I will get to play a better version of the game. Great list yourself. I need to try Suikoden when it comes out. A lot of people in my circle keep mentioning that game. Hopefully, Konami announces a release day.
Loved the video! There’s a lot of games coming out next year The two I’m mostly excited for our Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth (I’ve recently beaten Crisis Core Final Fantasy Reunion and Final Fantasy Remake I wanted to beat both of them before reverse came out and I succeeded). The next one I’m excited for the most is Persona 3 Reload (I had the opportunity to get Persona 3 portable but I miss my chance so I decided just to go with the remake. I’m mostly anticipating it to be good and it’s a good reception. They might hopefully remake Persona 4 as well as Dynasty Warriors sequels like Persona 5 Strikers.) that’s the only two games. I’m really excited about for next year can’t wait to see your next video. 😁
Great list of games. I'm just expecting Persona 3 to be a better game overall compared to portable. Also, thanks for the wells regards. Appreciate it 😊
Dragonball Sparking Zero Princess Peach Showtime Another Code Persona 3 Reloaded Metaphor And whatever Pokémon Co/Gamefreak got cooked up Thats what im looking for
I keep hearing about the Persona series. Ive never played. Do you have to have have played previous Persona games to jump into it? For example, Persona 5?
Hey sorry I got to this comment later than usual. My bad 😭 No you don't need to play the previous Persona games to get a grasp of the series. They are all isolated within themselves with only small references between other games. As for your first Persona game, I recommend Persona 5 Royal or Persona 3 Reload. Any one of those games are a good starting point.
Cool! Oh Vanillaware made another game? Cool. I'm more of a fan of their (lite) Action RPG games Princess Crown, Muramasa, Dragons Crown, and Odin Sphere. And I actually enjoyed Trials of Mana, and I'm old, those are the games of my time!! Hahaha And maybe I'll finally get a PS5 this coming year so I can get FF7 Rebirth. Cheers to 2024! 😊🎮🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🖖 Marcus
I am hype fr Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Dragon Dogma, you have no clue how long we wanted another game and how long we waited on it, Hype for the Donkey Kong game use to to play the arcade game so mcuh and now to see it this way is just hype, Paper Mario they ened to give us Paper Mario 2 already lol. And don't get me started on Xbox game this coming year, it time for take it place up there again I msis the 360 time when it was betetr then PS3 in gaming.
Absolutely excited for all these games plus Granblue Fantasy ReLink, Decapolice (if it releases this year), Apollo Justice Trilogy (I have them on the 3DS but decided why not to play on the Switch), and Steller Blade (i'm pretty sure it's getting released in 2024)
I'm hyped for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Tekken 8, Persona 3 Reload, Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak. We're gonna keep eating good in 2024! Love to see it!
The way Sephiroth is being pushed so much is especially frustrating as a fan of the OG, because not only was he not shoved in your face nearly as much in the early parts of the game, he was largely a mysterious, shadowy figure you heard about and slowly saw what he was doing, before he started showing up more often towards the end of the portion Rebirth is covering. I get he's obviously more known as a villain now, so maybe they couln't do it exactly the same way, but I do think they went way too far in the opposite direction, to the point where he's basically emailing the player, saying "Hi, I'm Sephiroth and I'm the villain of this game, ha ha ha", so it almost feels like a parody. That said, I did enjoy Remake overall, and Rebirth looks like it'll be a ton of fun, but I'm not 100% sold on what they're doing with the story and characters.
You explained my thoughts in the most thorough and concise way ever. It's better than whatever I wanted to say, lol. But just like you, I'm still gonna buy Rebirth, cause I like Final Fantasy 😵 I don't like how the story is going, though
Other games I'm excited for: Apollo Justice Ace Attorney Trilogy Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth P3 Reload (Though I played FES and know its story, so it might go on hold for a bit, due to that being a crazy period) Eiyuden Hundred Heroes Chronicle Visions of Mana Trails Through Daybreak Methaphor Re Fantazio Looks like another stacked year, lol
They been doing that since the first time they release the first game, he like the first bad boy the girls fall for, The wrong choice girls always seem to pick over the good one. Have you played the FF 7 game before not the remake because that show why he on everything like he the star of the game Cloud wasn't suppose to be that good if you play the game you see what he was and who he end up becoming. All you need to know Cloud kicks his ass and loive him or not he is what made the game great. For me not to into the remake much I grew up with the one game and lvoe that game voer the remake, I mean I love FF 6 over 7 it had a better story and was one the most epic fight you get in the end.@@MandyleePlays
I am literally circling Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth as the game I am excited for. Late January can't come soon enough 😩
Still need to make my through the Yakuza series. Now I got a ton of games to catch up on 😵
You should because once you get to Like a dragon ir become turn base :D and such a fun game too, Come on girl step it up :P@@MandyleePlays

Nah, they need to show Cloud more fam. He is the protagonist, maybe more Zack as well 😩
HYPE FOR PRINCESS PEACH!!!

lol 13:49 I was thinking the same thing and then you said it!! lol
Great minds think alike!

That game, I'm excited for. Peach finally gets her own game after a long time. Also, mind if I ask, why are you retiring from modern gaming?

RPGs fans are eating well in 2024, and love every bit of ot lol
I'm looking forward to Unicorn Overlord.
Yes!!!!
This year is going to rock! I am so ready for these games!
Don't know if I can't get to all of them, though 😅

The thing about sephoroth, is that he doesn’t see himself as a bad guy… he’s not the “muwahahahaaaa” type bad guy…
Yea, I know. I just don't like the way Square keeps marketing him. I've seen newcomers confuse him for being the protag instead of the antagonist.
